Anyway, my take is they were merging into NLEX and the rule of thumb is that the merging vehicle has to accelerate, merge alternately, and move quickly up to the traffic speed. It's not actually uncommon in other countries to have a camera recording ALL of your driving. The device is just set to loop and overwrite the oldest files when it runs out of space.

In case you get into any trouble (accident or such), then you now have a record to show police/insurance that it wasn't your fault (obviously you wont give the footage if it was your fault ).

You should see those china/russia dashcam compilations. Insane road antics.

i dont find it strange. car camcoders now can be attached to windshield. And from the looks of the video, naka harap naman ito in front.
if they are expecting to be bump from behind and are purposely taking a video, shouldn't they just attached the video facing backwards?
