still, i believe the TS should at least inform the readers of what really happened. he could simply say that starbright fixed his car and he was satisfied with the job. if we're to cite the auto********* problem, the TS had the decency to inform the readers of what was done as form of compensation. it's like watching a TV soap that gets cancelled right before the last episode of the season.

the thread starter had the time to post his rants, i wish he'd have a bit more time to post how it really ended.

anyway, whatever. good for him. threads such as this deserve a better ending. frankly, i feel short changed. i guess if i were in his place, i'd have done things differently. but that's just me.

Well... yeah, put it that way... he should end the story... but well... all I can tell you is that they did it... and now it's happily ever after. Anyway, I'll ask Kyle of Starbright for the full story... I'll get back to you guys on this by Friday.

the complaint worked because many people on this forum (and other forums) took notice and responded negatively towards starbright. imo, those on this forum were used. this thread would not have gone anywhere if nobody reacted. having said that, i believe that the TS should have the decency to at least inform the readers of what truly happened.

oo nga ano??? so wala pala magagawa yung may-ari ng shop pagdating sa thread dito sa tsikot.

ako nasimulan ko itong thread na ito pero ndi ko na-feel na nagamit ako. mejo entertainment pa nga eh kaso tulad ng isang pelikula, nakakainis pag bitin ang ending.

Apex_i, whoever he is, did not start this thread here. So he is not obliged to respond to it at all. He has explained already that he came to a agreement with the shop, and that's it, he's withdrawing the complaint.

Whether or not you personally respond to the thread, the damage done to the shop is that people read the original complaint. That's why this worked. Di naman basta tsikot lang siya nagpost... and it doesn't really matter quite as much... but this complaint was aired on several club forums... and it's the club guys who are the primary market of starbright... because it's the club guys who spend money on bodykits and mods.

Whether or not he was the threadstarter, he is withdrawing his complaint because Starbright apologized for their mistake and compensated him in kind. I think he has the right to ask that it be locked. Still, let's wait to see if he will respond. I can't reach my contact for Starbright, yet... so I don't know how they stand, yet.

I've talked to starbright, and yes, ginawa na yung sasakyan niya. Kaya puwede nang i-lock.

di man lang nag-update dito parang ginamit lang ang tsikot para sa pansariling interes niya

IMO - respect the privacy of the complainant. If he wants the thread to be locked (even if I was the one who started it / hotlinked it to gruporav4's site) then so be it...

IMO, if this thread is closed without a decent explanation from Apexi, then it will set a very bad precedent for others who may start a rant against other shops. They can move for its closure just because, and not offer any reason. Just because.

Apexi may not be under any obligation, but how about decency and fair play? How about the numerous posters who lambasted the shop, sympathized with him and added their voice in the quest for justice? Undoubtedly, their collective action moved Starbright to settle. Don't you think Apexi owes them that?

Besides, if Apexi has been justly compensated, then why withhold that info??
