Beware: Kotong TMG at end of Coastal Road

My office was stopped last friday at 10pm near the foot of flyover going to alabang at the end of coastal road. random check daw sabi TMG, they asked for driver's license and registration. he only had photocopies of registration, well who brings the originals diba? sabi TMG fake daw registration, so he called his wife to bring over the originals... then showed them to TMG. Fake daw talaga, but he insists they're genuine as his CRV was bought under financing and he personally registers it. Dalhin daw sa Crame sabi TMG, so obvious nangongotong. Who would want to go to Crame late at night with a crook riding in your car?!!! They haggle a price, ayaw sa P200... nag demand ng P500. So nagbigay.... at pinakawalan. He talks to the police he knows na nakastation under the flyover, ganun daw racket ng TMG dyan wala sila magawa at national daw scope nung TMG at hindi kailangan mag coordinate sa local police. After a few days he went to TMG office sa may Sucat ata yon to clarify with the head. Ayun, nadagdagan pa tanong, bakit daw nakadalawang CR na sya?!!! Hinayupak na walang alam!!!! Ayaw maniwala sa paliwanag nya na since encumbered yung sasakyan dati at now bayad na, pinalitan na ng LTO yung dating CR!!!!! So, pinatawag at pinakausap yung tiga Honda at Banco de Oro, aber ayaw pa rin maniwala!!!! Finally dumating yung hepe, ayun pinagalitan tauhan nya at absent ba raw sila noong ni lecture nya dati yung ganoong scenario dahil sya yung professor nila sa seminar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ayun, nagbigay sya ulit pang merienda

P.S. paliwanag pala ng TMG na meron daw namemeke ng renewal ng rehistro na kasabwat yung naglalakad na galing sa car dealer at tiga LTO....

kaya malaking advantage kung meron kang dalang voice recorder or cellphone.. para meron kang solid evidence na ginagantso ka lang ng pulis na nangongotong sayo.

tapos bago ka umalis parinig mo sa pulis ung pinagsasabi nya sa recording..then proceed to the nearest police station.. yari sa hepe yan. pag kinampihan ung bata nya.. you can always go to a higher authority para magsumbong.

i'm not so sure. pero AFAIK, inadmissible sa court ang voice recording when presented as evidence. unless, the court has issued a court order permitting such.

ang dapat dyan, kinuha yung name ng apprehending officer then isumbong sa media. nang ma-expose ang kabalbalan nila. anyways thanks for sharing the experience.
