How true. Sobrang dami bank charges ng BDO. My uncle was charged by BDO a service fee for a marketing call made by the bank.

sa akin naman BDO credit card... they billed me for 2k plus so binayaran ko, only to find out next month na over payment na pala ako. so nung tinawagan ko customer service, i asked ano gagawin dun, kasi pinacancel ko na yung card( a longer story na sila adin may mali)

    aba eto sagot:

CS: sir may charge na 1% of the over payment, service fee
me: the first palce kayo ang mali, you billed me so binayaran ko thinking na di ko nabayaran dati yun.
    CS: sir??
me: oo cancell mo na din yung isang card ko at may balance pa ng 45k yun this month. kung ala kayo paki sa 12 years na client wala din ako paki sa inyo. cancel mo na eto number...
CS(butts in): sir sayang po card nyo
me: wala akong paki. cancell mo na
CS: ah sir, can you wait... i'll ask my manager kung ano paraan magagawa for the overpayment

cut in short they said they will credit the ovepayment to my visa card, full amount in 3 days. tawag na alng ako ulit

kakapikon my card was originally Equitable, kaso nabili ng BDO ang equitable, after 12years of no worries with equitable biglang na gulo account ko

International Tax_and what the hell is that? And they would not explain.
This is with BPI, sa metrobank naman charges me 50 pesos for interbank deposit to my account and 100 pesos for the fax to my branch.

From what I heard, BDO's taking over of EPCIB is not a marriage made in heaven....

But that's just about my experience kasi....

^^the consolidation of these two banks (bdo and equitable) likewise affected the collective bargaining agreement of the epcib employees...apparently, epcib workers' union was able to conclude a good bargain prior to the consolidation..

so far, satisfied client pa naman ako...(knock on wood)

Pwede talaga naman gamitin yung bdo atm card anywhere na may POS, syempre minsan hindi naman natin maiiwasan na na-ooffline yung system kaya siguro on your part hindi tinanggap ng system that time, of course not all the time perfect naman yung system natin parang internet lang yan, na-ooffline.
and if ever naman na mangyari yung mga ganyang bagay, all you need to do is to track your transaction/s kung saan ka nadebit and how much keep your receipt.report to the call center 6318000 sa bdo yan.syempre may procedure din yan, investigation and all kaya konting patience lang, ibabalik din naman yan.

Actually, meron naman way na waive ang mga interbranch withdrawal fees or encashments, they check yung ytd(year to date) or mtd(month to date) or adb(average daily balance) ng client na ngwiwithdraw if it's like 500,000 waive na automatic yun. Mostly applicable ito sa mga corporations.

Guys meron ba sa BDO na passbook and it can be used as an ATM din? (i mean may ATM card ka din with the same passbook account). Ayoko kasi separate account pa for passbook and ATM. (and imagine may 100 pesos fee pala pag nag withdraw ka over-the-counter sa ibang branch). if wala sa BDO nito, anong bank pwede nito? I heard kasi possible daw ito. Thanks guys!

Actually being practical, there's lot of bdo branches and atm machines so better to open at BDO still. If you want you can open PASSBOOK WITH ATM, same account number. Yes they are already charging for interbranch withdrawal so might as well open a passbook with atm, if you have large amount of withdrawals you use your passbook. The maximum withdrawal in atm is 50,000pesos, 25,000 per withdrawal. So it's very convenient.

You can also open at BPI, I think you can withdraw any branch also but I dont know if they don't charge because I dont have a BPI account. But I know they don't have passbook anymore, only atm.
