What BATAS did makes no sense at all. But they did create a lot of traffic.

wag lang dito sa tsikot... di lahat ng klase ng tao eh welcome dito...
Na curious na tuloy ako sa thread na ito. Eto lang ang masasabi ko (na nasabi na):
1. Did BATAS get a legal permit to use EDSA for their motorcade? BIG NO!
2. Even if they did not get a permit they still proceeded. Is that right? And legal???
3. Let's say they did use one lane... but as what many said the problem was when they change lanes... and they even hog the other lanes. Not even tsikoteers here have that experience... even the COMMUTING PUBLIC!!! And you do this at RUSH HOUR??? Can you actually change lanes ni RUSH HOUR???
This is not about brandishing partylist or a fight of mahirap mayaman or kung sino man yan na nagpapaptakbo sa partylist... it's the fact that BATAS did not follow the rules on getting a "Proper Motorcade Permit". And doing more injury is to do it at EDSA rush hour without a permit. Motorists and commuting public were affected.
So to those people or posers who just make some stupid and funny comments on tsikot being "mayaman" or "may tsikot kasi" or "thinks alike" why don't you commute in EDSA on RUSH HOUR if you are indeed a "so called mahirap" or "commuter" or "the ordinary joe" as what you are symbolically applying. Let's see if that would give some sense to what we're all saying here.
And don't ever lambast me that "bakit hindi ako magtagalog" this is also an interational community and even our foreign tsikoteers need to understand your reason why you did that motorcade on the most busiest time on the road.
this thread really made my day.think this is the right time/thread para e apply yong kabilang thread about pano controlin ang galit (anger management pala
)

COMELEC disqualifies Batas party-list group
The Commission on Elections disqualified Monday the Bagong Alyansang Tagapagtaguyod ng Adhikaing Sambayanan party-list group after proving that the group is being used as a front by a religious organization.
The COMELEC 2nd Division said Batas is an extension of the Ang Dating Daan religious organization founded by Bro. Eli Soriano. It added that Daniel Razon, the party-list group's first nominee for the congressional seat in the May 14 elections, is the second highest official of the religious organization.
COMELEC said it found evidence that Batas used Ang Dating Daan facilities and resources to campaign in the May 14 elections. It added that Razon used his position as an ADD preacher to campaign for Batas.
Under Article 6 of Republic Act 7941, the COMELEC may remove or cancel the registration of any national, regional or sectoral party, organization or coalition if it is a religious sect or denomination, organization or association organized for religious purposes.
Batas earlier got the required two percent of total party-list votes to elect Razon to Congress. COMELEC, however, temporarily set aside Razon's proclamation as party-list representative because of a pending disqualification case and petition for cancellation of registration filed by Nathan Macute, a registered voter of Sitio Roque, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
In his petition, Macute pointed out that the registration of Batas was intended to “completely deceive and defraud” the electorate because it is passing itself off as the Buklod ng mga Abogadong Tagapagtaguyod ng Adhikain ng Sambayanan, which bears the same acronym and was organized by lawyer Melanio Mauricio Jr.
Aside from Razon, the other nominees of Batas were Daniel S. Razon, Melanio Mauricio Jr., Joey Y. Sonza, Ariel M. Pacis and Olivia G. Coo.![]()
