In C5, one biker in front of you and starts going slow.. as in really slow. It opens up a space ahead of him which allows 100's of cars and other bikers to go ahead, while you're trapped in your lane.
Later on, you find an opportunity which allows you to break out and get ahead of the biker. Several minutes later, traffic slows down...and BOOM, that same biker squeezes in front of you and does that thing again!

traffic at moderate and you're about to change lane, there's enough room/distance from the car behind where you want to move, you hit the signal light on at saka naman biglang haharurot yung auto sa likod.

There was once an article on how to survive driving in Manila traffic. Amongst the other "tips" is not to signal when changing lanes, precisely because of your peeve. I used to do this, but since I try not to be a barbaric driver, I just signal the moment I turn to change lanes.

Most likely, the student drivers nowadays are learning to drive using automatic transmission.

I completely understand that new drivers tend to drive slowly and hesitantly especially in the jungle that you call our roads. What really drives me up the wall are newbies that drive slowly between two lanes and can't seem to decide which lane to plunk his/her car into.

That's because they've yet to develop situation awareness around the vehicle their driving.

Like from 3rd lane e napunta agad sa 1st lane.
Napapansin ko most of driver ng malalaking suv e ma angas sa daan.

Because in this country, lane discipline is hardly taught and prioritized, plus lane markings in the roads are decided by a schizophrenic moron.

I remember I've actually seen someone in a brand new subcompact car drive almost exactly between two lanes. When the car I'm squeezed past the car, I was expecting some idiot talking on the phone but instead, it was some noob driving with both hands on the wheel and staring tensely straight ahead.

    Or baka lang natatae siya.
