IF you make dark tints ILLEGAL, then the only cars that will have dark tints will be those of the criminals. So you won't be alerted like you argue above, unless of course you assume that all dark tinted cars by then are harboring criminals.

It's the same argument used about the outlawing guns for civilians. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

about the tints... yung city nya is tinted, though not that dark, pero pati yung front is fully tinted... kung walang tint naman, i think na mas prone ito kasi madaling ma distinguish kung mag isa ka... mas madaling pag tripan ang mga babae nyan... i'm not advising to fully tint the cars, pero yan ang reality...

i get what you are saying.. but how can criminals get away with having dark tints if its illegal and the police would have the powers to stop and check the cars. kasi nga illegal and full dark tints diba?

contrary to what your saying if all law abiding citizens followed the mandate that they should not have dark tints on their windshields then cant we assume that those who have dark tints have illegal activities in their plans, and can therefore be criminals.

and if criminals have no respect for the law then they will be sticking out from the law abiding citizens, and therefore make them easy to identify.

Yes, then again those politicians have heavy tinted cars too. They should start taking of the heavy tints of their cars first

i guess my point is totally useless.. i just want to asked the experts out there this simple question. how many cars have been involved in crimes that are not heavily tinted? would someone please post some pictures. i mean pictures from TV or newspapers.. thank you.

what im trying to point out is that most of crimes of this nature involve cars that are heavily tinted. that is why i asked for pictures that involve carnap or what other crimes involving the use of cars that are not heavily tinted..

and one more thing, galing na din ako sa brand new. that was year 2000. it was a toyota corolla gli m/t color express black. sad to say na-carnap sya after two months lang ng isang client ng isang rent-a-car company. kaya ayaw ko ng mag-brand new.

Speaking of dark tints na sakop lahat ng windshield including yung sa harap auto.
Na flag-down nga ako minsan sa isang check point sa may agham road.

sabi ko uuwi na syempre at magmamadaling araw na! nung nilabas ko na ID ko, sabi "ay sige Sir pasensya na, masyado kasi madilim tint ng kotse nyo, pasensya na po".

Medyo takaw sita tlga ang mga nka all-around super dark tint ang auto.
Pero basta legal yang mga nangsita/check, tama yung isang tsikoteer na ni hindi hahawak sa kotse mo yan at puro tingin lang gagawin sa loob to verify if evrything is ok.

what i was trying to point out about the dark tints is that if it was illegal then with out any cars having dark front tints, you would be alerted to any suspiscious activities that some goons might be planning to to..

OT nato. but if you installed clear tints it would prevent the heat from goin into your car but still keep your filipino brown skin from getting darker.. plus if your car cant cool the inside of your car then theres something wrong with your aircon..

my wife is a small lady (5 feet flat) driving a brand new vehicle (no plates yet) with medium tint on the side and light tint on the windshield, from the outside, kita pa rin yung silhouette ng driver. yung idea pa lang na yun eh hindi ako lagi mapakali, i always ask her if she arrived at her destination alright.

now after reading this incident, lalo akong di mapapakali, im going to ask her to change her tint to darker ones.

depende yan sa car mo. Kung bulok aba baka hinde mag dadalawang isip na huliin ka.
And make a research if there's a loop hole in the law or better yet get a proper permit
