IF you make dark tints ILLEGAL, then the only cars that will have dark tints will be those of the criminals. So you won't be alerted like you argue above, unless of course you assume that all dark tinted cars by then are harboring criminals.

It's the same argument used about the outlawing guns for civilians. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

REMEMBER: Criminals have no respect for the law, no matter what happens.

In both cases, the civilian always loses.
