They violate any traffick laws in the land. Its part of their privilages.

The same din naman privilage ng Filipino diplomats sa ibang bansa.

Wala silang privilege na ganyan, diplomatic immunity is another thing.
Nandito sila, sumunod sila sa patakaran dito, or they will not be respected.
Yan mga diplomatic immunity is just a concept of safe conduct pass.

If they will threaten our basic human rights puede natin sila patayin kung sibilyan tayo. Of course this is open for discussion. But at the end of the day this immunity is limited.

This incidents are serious security breach, dapat ma inform ang mga regional security officer or military attache ng embassy para matanggal yan mga driver nayan,
puedeng sira na ulo niyan. At dapat they should not call undue attention to themselves.
    That is "Basic".

Actually puede yan i spray paint ng civilian yan "follow our traffic rules".

Actually tama ito! What is guaranteed is their life only, should they be in the wrong place and the wrong time.

    babae.

Safe conduct pass = safe passage in exchange for safe conduct. (Hopefully)

Courtesy lang po! They are not immune to anything. Pero if I am the 'Commander' of an area they will be entering, my people will only accept cash, may budget naman sila para dito or they dont get diplomatic immunity, magpakilala muna sila. They will also pay for their escorts. They will have to engage the services of a local contractor so I can get them to infuse some money to the local economy.

Mababait by nature ang mga Police natin pag city centers.

They have way too much priviledges... I think. :-/
They dont have privileges, mali lang ang implementation ng batas.
Dapat hulihin sila every time, and sunduin nila ang sasakyan nila sa impounding area kung kanila nga ito, but we will waive all their fines.
Puede i clamp yan, kailangan lang mag present sila ng why they are not following our rules and endangering public safety.

what I know is that they can request for police assistance and rarely they will be turned down, the police must be the one to lead the way in traffic.

once I was approach by a diplomatic car (stretch limo pa naman) forgot what country, it turn from corner toward me approaching corner from a one way street, ayaw umatras, and blink light on me signaling me to back off, hindi ko pinansin at nag antayan kami, after mga 5 minutes, may dumating police mobile, bumaba at nagtanong sa akin bakit, sabi ko, tanong mo sa mayabang na car sa harap ko, kinausap niya yung driver, bumalik sa akin at sinabi pa naman sa akin, diplomatic car daw at back off daw, ang sabi ko sa kaya, kung ayaw or hindi mo kaya siya huliin, bayaan mo kami, wala ako ginawa mali, kung ayaw niya umatras, di papasundo na lang ako sa driver ko, iwan ko car ko dito, sino ba sila. then the police go back to the car and it back off after few minutes, nag salute pa ang police sa car na yong, ang cheap talaga. and I open my window and give the car my middle finger.

if you are a real diplomat then you should know how to respect your own status, I know few expat and they are so courteous and friendly, you can feel that they don't want to put the country in shame, that is the true diplomat, ang mga tauhan ng nila ang mayabang

I have a friend. yung dad nya diplomat. Although dito na sila naka reside for a long time na. When I saw her car na naka diplomatic plate, according to her kahit na no left turn pwede nya gawin due to diplomatic imunity. Aside from that, meron akong mga narinig na hear say na pag nabangga ka ng auto ng diplomat, wala ka raw habol doon kasi may immunity. I hope hindi po totoo yun. What if your driving around with your hard earned car den matotal wreck ng diplomat, e di good bye na yung favorite auto mo...

Hay ... ang koste po walang immunity. Only certain PEOPLE within the diplomatic community ang meron. Ang problema, hindi naman ito alam o maintindihan ng enforcers or even officials natin.

hindi ako well versed sa international law pero what I know is the diplomatic immunity applies to the diplomat. not to their family or their cars... and i know na hindi sa driver... for their family they (govt) extend diplomatic courtesy but thats an unwritten rule...

medyo ot... yesterday nakasabay ko pauwi from the fort to ayala isang black luxury car with a diplomatic plate number 1000 (us embassy ba ito???) was able to see the occupant kasi on the stop light sa mckinley nagkatabi kami... driver lang... on the edsa ayala ave intersection... lakas ng loob ng loko... stop na kami and go yung edsa... he just drove right through... mind you hindi yung tipong kaka red palang or yung malapit na mag green... classic example of a fly on top of a cow... pinoy nga naman...

as much as police want to stop these diplomats...nauuna takot nila mag english. d sila magkaintindihan. so they rather let these diplomats go. and takot sila makabangga ng mataas na official. i think that's the main reason.

this is not true. Iiwan ka nila kapag na-bangga ka pero they will pay for any damages. just approach their embassy.

this is the same practice with armored cars with a load of money.

If you see diplomatic cars without VIPs on board driving recklessly, report ninyo lang sa embassy nila. They are quite sensitive to host country criticism. But if they have diplomatic staff/dependents on board, wala talaga, they will drive aggressively. The lesson of Colonel Rowe comes to mind with respect to diplomatic cars in manila.

Diplomatic immunity is a form of a legal immunity and a policy held between goverments, which ensures that diplomats are given safe passage and are considered susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the country's laws(although they can be expelled if abuse there immunity). It was agreed as international law in the Vienna convention on DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS(1961), though there is a much longer history in international law. Many principles of diplomatic immunity are now considered to be customary law.

True, you cannot do anything much about since they are protected by Philippines law. How to get even? Well, I guess you have to call MEL GIBSON and DANNY CLOVER since they are the CURE of an abusive diplomat.
