I think that's called the 'Deer in the headlights' look in the U.S. Parang yung deer kapag nakita kang parating napapatigil sa daan and nakatitig na lang sa iyo hanggang magkabanggaan na.

Distance between the vehicles may have also played a role. Kung nakatutok yung mga sasakyan, sasalpok talaga yan once the suspect vehicle hits the vehicle in front of it.
Kaya ako I keep my distance na, highway or city driving.
The airbag should have deployed at that speed and considering na kahit offset crash tests, the airbags deploy.
From a crash test, the Sorento's doors (front and rear) buckled upon impact. This is probably why it didn't want to open.

ingat mga peeps! accident prone talaga yang lugar na iyan... had a similar incident last year, sabi ng hepe dyan sa San Manuel Tarlac - at least 2 accidents per day daw ang reported cases. also my innova's airbag doesn't came out upon impact? but then again ang impact ay sa passenger's side headlight.

so is the tractor = kuliglig?? ang dami talagang kuliglig type na tractor dyan sa tarlac. it makes driving on tarlac roads such a PAIN!!! ano pa nga ba magagawa natin. kung local authorities walang magawa dyan. hay naku.

Makulit talaga mga kuliglig na yan, bigla na lang hihinto or kakabig and most of all, karamihan walang tail lights
Isama mo na sa mga pasaway na drayber yung mga Tricycle at Trak ng Sugar Cane, mas malapad pa yung karga nila kesa sa trak mismo...
