the thing is pababa yun approach kaya mabilis ang dating mo. parang monte carlo track yun curve. ingat lang mga peeps.

muntikan na din ako dito 2weeks ago... 110-120kph ang takbo malayo pa sa underpass, tapos nagagalit na yun kasama ko kasi raw baka ma-aksidente, so tinapakan ko yun gas, pero bigla ko rin binaba to 100kph (kasi naalala ko yun kaibigan ko na on the same situation pero naaksidente...) tapos sabi nun kasama ko, 60-80kph lang daw... so nun pababa ng underpass asa 80kph kami, habang curve asa 70-75kph, then after the curve bigla akong preno... leche muntikan ko na hindi makita yun motorsiklo na naka-gitna... kung asa 120kph ako patay siya... after nun hataw ulit ako... hehehehehe

araw araw po akong dumadaan d2....and talaga po na prone to accidents ang underpass na ito....as you can see on the sides of it ...ang dami na gasgas sa walls ng underpass it shows that the speed of vehicles is too fast....even if we install reflectors...its the drivers is always at fault since its a dangerous curve ang underpass....ingat na lang po tayo.....

Exactly. Reflectors, mirrors, lights -- they often become a license/excuse for speeding and reckless road behavior, if not altogether ignored. Classic example: turn signals. They're originally meant to tell other drivers behind you to slow down and accomodate you as you change lanes or turn into a corner. Nowadays, however, try flashing a turn signal at some motorist behind you and chances are, he/she will step on the gas even more to beat you at your turn. Even an actual wreckage of a car, placed on a pedestal for everyone to see, fails to encourage road discipline among our drivers.

Maybe instead of choking roadways with signs and all sorts of warning devices, leave them bare, so that drivers will be forced to use common sense along with their eyesight. Let them become aware of the danger--the hard way. After all, they do so even in the presence of ample warnings, anyway.

Sayang lang ang ginagastos ng gobyerno sa mga signs, mirrors, lights, reflectors and other devices na hindi naman sinusunod. The money could be better spent on a centralized national driver education program that will produce more responsible drivers, whether there are road signs or not.

dont get me wrong.. i was a speed freak back in college.. i just dont see the point now.. especially if you seen so many accidents claiming lives of people you do not know and you know... oo nga. .bakal lang ang kotse.. napapalitan pag nabangga.. kaso.. ikaw kaya mapapalitan kung sa aksidente na yun eh namatay ka??.. think about it...

wag magmabilis pag pacurve ang daan baka may slippery part mawalan kayo ng control.
Kung pwede dun nalang kayo sa taas dumaan para iwas accident. Pareho naman ang lalabasan sa katipunan

The turn signal is not really meant for others but for your own peace of mind. We cannot control the actions of others but we can control our own. By using your turn signal, you at least show that you did the right thing.

may stoplight na ba sa taas? pag nadadaan kasi ako dun sa umaga (real early), walang stoplight, free for all.

kaya sa baba ako napapadaan.

ogags nga yung mga bumutas uli ng flyover/underpass na yan. kabago-bago eh, binutas na kagad. grrrr.

We passed by katipunan to libis the other night. The avenue was well lighted and the tunnel is adequately lighted too. The curve being mentioned as an accident prone is not too sharp, based on my own observation. If you are going to attack the tunnel at excessive speeds you are risking collision with tunnel walls. Isn't it common sense to slow down if we are about to enter a curved tunnel? why would you want to even speed up while approaching it? I think some drivers are in it for the thrill of racing under the tunnel.

I was also like that back then... into lowered cars and engine mods. Pero things change pag may family na. That is why i switched to family hauler.
