Nangyari sa friend ko ito. Kung tama ako, dapat exempt ang mga ganito sa coding. They pay 25,000 to get plates like these. But then again, sumuway na naman si Alkalde U-Know-Who. Sabi ng MAFSA hindi daw nila ino-honor ang immunity ng plakang dalawa lang ang numero. After ilang arguments, naglagay na lang siya para matapos na.

If I'm not mistaken, part of the 25K you pay is coding exemption. 2-digit plates are meant to be distinguished. As for customization, you can also do that with the usual 3-digit ones, at a lower price, but for sure, this is subject to coding.

sa alam ko ang mga plates with two digits are still not exepted sa mga codings ... wat you pay for the 25k is the "uniqness" of it being a 2 number plate not of it being exepted.. so pag 77 ka edi thurs ka etc etc

special plates with 3 letters and 2 numbers (ABC 12) are not exempted sa number codings..

you pay the 25k premium to get your choice of 3 letters and 2 numbers.. while 15k for 3 letters and 3 numbers..

Quote from LTO: "The motor vehicle special license plate consists of alpha-numeric combinations and is considered as a regular license plate (one pair)."

Para wala kang coding..... bumili ka pa ng ilang sasakyan... 2 for you and 2 more for the wife and probably another 2 more for you eldest son/daughter who already drives....so on and so forth.... 2 more for the mistress???

Bottomline, nang dahil dun sa magaling na nagpauso ng odd/even scheme dati... eh lahat ng mga tao mahina ngayon ang dalawang sasakyan.... tapos ginawa naman coding na banned once a week lang ang sasakyan.... ayun!!! patay!!! lahat ng mga nakabili na ng OTHER CAR para sa odd/even scheme eh ngayon dalawang sasakyan ginagamit na tuluyan 4 days a week instead of the 2 to 3 days a week lang. Lets just say na 1 million registered vehicles within metro manila alone (hypothetical only), during the odd/even scheme, only 500K where allowed on the streets but when they changed it to coding, probably 800K where allowed to go around town. Opinion ko lang ito so open ako for a better explanation.
