wow naman... a 17-year old driving the CRV. Ok lang dahil 17 naman ang legal age to get a license. pero driving at dawn at nakainom pa!

7 hurt in jeep-AUV crash in Muntinlupa

Seven people were hurt after a a Honda CRV crashed into a passenger jeep near the Muntilupa City exit of the South Luzon Expressway before dawn Monday.

Injured in the collision were Aldrin Mangolabnan, 17, driver of the Honda CRV; and his four passengers John Paulo del Rosario,16; Ana Paula Salvio, 22; Jean Eda Roa, 22; and Nancy Mariano, 24. Two passengers of the jeep, Wendell Villalobos and Benedict Carlong, were also injured.

Mangolabnan said he and his friends had just eaten at a gasoline station and were on their way to Santa Rosa, Laguna when he accidentally drove his vehicle into the jeep. He said the jeep fell on its side while their vehicle was forced into a grassy area beside the expressway due to the collision.

One of Mangolabnan's passengers admitted that they had been drinking before the accident.

Police said Mangolabnan could face charges for speeding and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The LTO should revoke his license then ban this 17 year old guy from getting a new one for life. Drinking under the influence of liquor comprise the safety of his passengers, especially the other innocent motorists that he might inconvenience because of his drinking.

MANILA, Philippines—Six people were hurt after a sport utility vehicle (SUV) collided with a passenger jeepney on the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) early yesterday morning.
PO3 Isidro Miano, an investigator of the Muntinlupa police, told the Inquirer in a phone interview that both vehicles were on the northbound lane of the expressway in Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, when the Honda CRV slammed into the jeepney at around 3:30 a.m.
The jeepney flipped over, leaving its driver, Wendell Villalobos, hurt.
Also injured were Aldrin Mangolabnan, the SUV’s driver and his four passengers.
Miano said the police did not file charges against Mangolabnan after he promised to shoulder the expenses for Villalobos’ treatment and the repair of the jeepney.
