October 23rd, 2009 06:23 PM #13bale 980k for two nissan patrols that are less than 5 years old?? pwedeng pwede! kahit may lumabas pang ibang problem at magspend pa siya ng 500k murang mura pa rin. pero malamang, pag binenta uli, di na mababawi yung ginastos sa pagrepair. so i guess dapat for keeps kung ganun.

Basing on the deal posted here I'd get it
I wouldn't be surprised if we get similar deals like this in the next month or two and believe me there will be takers. Units like these will end up in the caring hands of happy, optimistic owners.

If I am to buy a flooded car...
I'd rather buy it AS IS WHERE IS.... No Casa should touch it.
I will have my own mechanics and technicians do the R&R and cleaning and drying of everything in - out.
then - throw away the ECU - replace it with Megasquirt VEMS-1.
This way - I will have no issues about over-all car performance.
A flooded car will never be the same again.... specially if it was fixed traditionally.
To answer the question... if it's remedied or fixed by the Casa only... I'd rather have an older car with a good history.
Moreover, reselling flooded cars is not easy. People are thinking - it's a headache and a wallet ache waiting to happen.Last edited by ehnriko; October 23rd, 2009 at 06:52 PM. Reason: spelling of drying.
