Toyota Revo MT (16yrs old, 10yrs ago and first car ng parents ko, fully concentrated sa MT, natuto mag-drive sa loob ng subdivision sa takas mode hanggang sa nagkaroon ng license, di na naglaro sa timezone sa arcade at fully concentrate na sa real machine)

1978 assembled jeep (willys type with a 2R engine). Drove it in 1983 in the province. Not so many vehicles then and police presence was virtually zero. Surprisingly, it still runs to this day

Pareho ko po nalaro yung dalawang platform arcade na yan, hehehe IIRC, kailangan magpa-load ng 200pesos, 100 for the tuning card, then 100 sa gameplay...(max. tune stick shift na 6speed, then sa initial d, stick shift pero up and down, pero pag naka AT mode, pwede mag downshift)

during the time na wala pa yang dalawang platform, most of the time, yung ferrari yung lagi ko po nilalaro pag tumatambay ako sa G4 during weekends..(early morning pa lang specially in summer time, 9am andoon na ako para maglaro) then yung paddle-shifter pa yung andoon dati, tapos merong 1unit na fully MT yung platform, marami nakapila....

i remember na nagkaroon din ng tournament yung tuazon racing sa timezone, kung sino yung mananalo, may chance na makahawak ng real car noon. (ford lynx pa dati)

Dumating si initial d at max tune, in early 2004, nakapag laro din ako nung dalawang platform (meron pang storyline + dual challenge game) pero di ko na rin masyado nasundan dahil practice mode na ako dun sa sasakyan ng parents ko, at tinuran ako ng kamag-anak din namin na family driver, doon na ako nag concentrate mag-drive, and yung time na biglang na-pull out yung mga ferrari na arcade at yung ang ipinalit.

yung ferrari arcade, laking tulong din sa akin, doon ako nagkaroon ng idea talaga kung paano mag-drive kasi yung technology 10yrs ago, yun ang at least close platform in virtual driving, unlike sa daytona, parang bumpcar ang datingan...hehehe

I learned how to drive with the help of our Mitsubishi Lancer SL "Box Type" (purchased in 1989) kung saan ang nanay ko pa ang unang nagturo sakin back in 1998 dahil reluctant pa ang tatay ko nun pagamit ang kanyang Toyota Corolla 1.6 GLi (purchased in 1993). First acid test ko ay ang ihatid sya sa kanyang office sa Makati at sa EDSA kami dumaan during rush hour. Naalala ko pa na lagi syang naka-ready sa hand break in case na mag-stall kami pag paakyat ang daan.

The first vehicle i drove is the Hyundai I10 of my GF. Mas nauna siya natuto mag drive sakin kaya ako tuloy tinuruan hehe. I get my first car which is a 2002 Nissan Exalta. The first time I drive it after getting the car we went to Tagaytay and on the way back papasok ng subdivision ayun nabinyagan agad nabangga kami ng jeep. First time I drive my own car accident agad. Although it wasn't my fault and siguro di naka tingin yung driver ng jeep sa harapan malamang may nag babayad ata. Buti na lang the car has insurance nung nabili namin.

my first practice drive was the late 60 model volkswagen of our austrian parish priest in the province. my first owned daily driven car was 79 model toyota corona station wagon bought as used car & disposed as scrap in 2005 ( not sure though if it was really 2005 ).

An old 80's Corolla owned and driven by my highschool classmate's dad.

In highschool we used to sneak it out the garage by pushing it towards the road na patay ang makina na hindi alam ng dad at an ungodly hour (3:00 AM) and bring it to the beach where we take turns to learn how to drive but ako lang yata wala interes matuto nun I'd rather sleep at the backseat. We bring it back sa bahay nila before 5:00 AM because we need to prepare for school pa ng 7:00 AM.

Funny I remember this kasi sleepy kami during class haha.

Funny dahil hindi ko sineryoso yung "driving" lessons noon I have to enrol in a driving school to get it right.

Owner Type Jeep. Then 1987 Nissan Stanza 1.6L. Parang gusto ko bumalik sa Owner. Simple, parang maintenance free pa nga hehe.
