what is the purpose?

aerodynamics. a fully open sunroof will produce additional drag on the vehicle thus reducing fuel economy. on the other hand a tilted sunroof produces better ventilation effect but with minimal impact on the vehicle's aerodynamics (less drag).

yup, tsaka, pag tilt-open lang, its not fully opened, kaya kung sa country roads k, lesser chan na may makakapasok na falling leave while you're coasting..

sa cars with tilt function... it kinda serves like an exhaust outlet from inside. kapag nagyoyosi ka sa loob ng kotse etc....

pag walang tilt magugulo yung ayos ng buhok mo.. pag may tilt swabe pa din.. parang pinadilaan sa kalabaw.. hehehe

February 14th, 2007 06:09 PM #7The tilt function is an Exhaust vent when parked in the sunny outside at noontime. So that when you get inside the car, it wouldn't be too hot because hot gases would escape out from the tilted sunroof.

moon/sun roof, it doesnt matter, names nalang yun ngayon..alam ko kasi pag sunroof, lata ang cover instead na glass(moon roof)
parang crystalite(mitsubishi),panoramic(nissan), at sky(toyota),cosmic(daihatsu)-roof lang yan din...
parang marketing hype nalang ung name...
