well, generally, ayaw ko nasisira ang sasakyan, nagkakaedad at lumuluma. pero sa maxima ko:

1.parts, hirap ng collision parts(lights,door, etc) and interior parts.
2.consumes like a v6, w/ a power output matching those newer 1.6L only.
3.gusto na mag-retire!time to ipon for a focus hatch or a atenza(mazda 6)

sa liteace ko:

1.ELECTONICS! grabe, 2c-turbo, may computer box! daming sensors pa...papalitan ko nga ng starex 110AH alternator!
2.pagnasira, TEMS! retain sa "soft" grabe parang nasa-alon ka!,4wd->surplus available...and matic is somewhat hampering the 2c-te power, gusto palitan ng manual!...3c-tc efi w/ matching 4wd manual tranny palit ko dito, hehe! di pala kasya ang 2L-T,e...

3. no mudguards.
4. very hard to maintain black paint
5. full of scratch due to the very cute kids. they made an instant blackboard out of my car.

- thirsty engine lacking some high speed performance

-non working/seldom working AC
-no tint, not even factory tint na slight greenish glass
-de-finger yung side mirrors
-side mirrors can easily be nudged from outside
-dali masira AC vents
-2 spoke steering wheel
-two tone paint (nabangga na kasi mali-mali pagpintura hehe)
-cramped rear seat
-low front overhang, dali sumabit sa rampa
-weak brakes
-no tach
-poor tactile feedback on shift lever (manual transmission)
-horizontal muffler
-sucky wipers, 2 speeds lang yata (off I and II)


1995 Corolla XE 1.3L

-front sits too high
-powerband/gearing too tight, 1st gear hirap na sa 25kph while my lancer kaya hanggang 40kph
-it had that "just use me" feeling to it
-alarm only opened front doors


Current cars:

1992 Corolla DX 1.6L (US)

-masyado sensitive steering
-washer bottle easily breaks
-transmission cooler lines on radiator could have been designed better (sharp kink that led to radiator leak)
-brake light output is not as bright as my MB even with 5 bulbs (visually)
-drivers flanking the car would not see the front turn signals because of how the wiring was done
-seatbelt design on front seats sucks, one lap belt AND a shoulder belt!
-horn mahirap pindutin
-weak brakes


2004 Jazz 1.3L CVT i-DSi

-front suspension matagtag
-drum brakes sa likod (but in fairness maganda braking power niya)
-doors could have been engineered better by making the pocket size larger
-tail lamps hirap palitan, one has to crawl under the rear overhang to unscrew it

1983 MB 300D (US)

-nothing to dislike

1998 Lancer GSR
-A/C doesn't work(it's cold here so I don't really mind except in the summer)
-rear drum brakes(brake shoes need to be replaced and I haven't had the time)
-clutch is starting to slip
-paint dings and a big scrape in the right front bumper(I sprayed bed liner on the hood so I don't have to deal with rock chips on the hood)
-no fog lights
-4g15 engine instead of a 4g92 MIVEC
-0-100kph in 9 seconds.

2005 Nissan Xterra
-4.0L V6 drinks gas like a V8(I get 15-16mpg/6-7km per liter)
-I didn't get the model with a locking rear differential
-no sunroof
-everything is controlled by a computer (I want a car that doesn't require a computer engineering degree to fix)
-g-sensor for the stability control has already been replaced

Ford Telstar 1983
- Wiper had previous electrical problem, there are two settings: on and off. It stays where it is when you turn it off.
- Side mirrors have been replaced, can barely see other vehicles.
- Has a problem with the brakes or vacuum lines, not sure which...

Honda Accord 1995
- Soft body, easily dented, there are about 5 dents in the front right and another 5 dents on the front left fender, dahil sa mga sumandal dati. 3 dings on the rear left passenger door.
- Paint chipping off from the front bumper and paint bubbling on the rear bumper.

2004 Mitsubishi Adventure GLS Sport

- Engine is reliable, but could use more horses.
- I find the stock tires a bit puny (like I could afford bigger ones right now)
- There's a slight rattling sound somewhere, can't tell if it's from the muffler or the stepboard mounts. It doesn't impair the vehicle's operation, but it does somewhat affect my performance behind the wheel.
- No seatbelts/lapbelts for the third row seats.
- They could have placed the fuel tank a little closer to the center of the chassis.
- Cranky parking sensors.
- It's basically an oversized hatchback, but I still love it to bits.

- no tachometer
- no power features except for steering (heck, pati yung side mirrors
kelangan buksan mo pa bintana para i-adjust. Bwisit to pag maulan or
nasagi ng mga pedestrian, lalo na sa front passenger side)

97 Accord VTi-S
- medyo problematic ngayon ang A/T. Di na automatic ang shifting, para
tuloy akong manual tranny, without the clutch

Pero what I like most about both cars is the driver! hehehe
