kung kukuha ka ng FX, diesel pero wag taxi, yung mga later models na na dual aircon, not yung unang labas na single aircon na nilagyan ng dual, na pinalitan na ng 2c-turbo(japan) or 3c-turbo..

kung gas: 7K na ang makina...may nagttrip dito sa tsikot na naglagay na ng 4age sa fx nila alam ko ung isa si bosstl(<--ID nya dito yan)

ok na ok yan, makitid nga lang pero very reliable, cheap to own and cheap to run! pwedeng gawin mong 2(bucket seats sa harap)-2 (captain seats sa 2nd row) or 3 (retain mo yung bench seat)-3 or 2(front facing seat) or retain mo yung side facing seats..it a utility vehicle...makakuha ka ng nothing to fix under 150T... medyo, takaw para nga lang sa "para" ng TMG/MMDA kasi pagkakamalang kang "colorum" otherwise, its does its duty well...

napaka gandang sasakyan nito sir. halos generic lahat ng body parts. kahit ilang years from now may makukuha kang parts nyan. tutoo yun na pag inayusan mo FX e maganda din talaga. kung madami ka pang gas get the 7k engine. malakas to humatak at di ka ibibitin. 1997 yata nag start ang FX na naka 7k engine na.

in-laws ko umabot pa sa bnew nung '01-gas 404K lang kuha nila for private
use lang kaya super tino amf naiiwan xto ko sa arangkada ang tahimik pa.

What I remember to this FX diesel is those taxi drivers sa baguio na bumili ng installment for 3 to 4 years. Di pa tapos bayaran yung fx binaba na agad yung makina. Kaya Nagkaroon before na pangit na impression sa Toyota Diesel. Para bang D4d ngayon, daming woes. Karamihan ng FX diesel ngayon change engine na into 2C turbo diesel surplus from Japan.

original 2c ng local FX natin is korean made...that it. japan made 2c-t are better....

yup 2c-turbo is one of the thriftiest engine around, pero, machine shop lang makakapag-adjust ng valve clearance nun...

it may be crude, but gets the job than...ang problem lang ng FX, sa sobrang dami nila, naglipana ang cheap fake parts, lalo na sa makina, kaya lalong nagsusuffer ang imahen ng sasakyan

just like your kia pride, toyota tamaraw FX is a good project-sleeper AUV!

nyahaha bat ka nag sori bro okey lang i can wait. yeah agree ako ganda na ng mga makukuha na fx sa 150T it seems.. pero mukhang nag stop na pala isupport/produce ng toyota ang fx ah..

anyway nung isang araw kse may nakta akong all black na fx with tints pa.. may dating.. shempre rice burner dating pero kse ayon nga sa iba na mukha kang taxi shempre u want to be different naman kahit papano

Just sold my FX 1998 diesel engine last february.. for 190K! Red mica in two tone at pormado na... I used it for more than 5 years(Bought it 2nd hand in 2001). ang masasabi ko.... ! Most of the time, DIY lang lahat ang maintenance ko(If my time permits). Very reliable car... Hindi naman cya hulihin sa kalye... dahil siguro pormado! I sold it coz i need to have a presentable car for my new job! ! Minsan kasi pinapara eh!! Pumili ka lang ng maayos pa ang makina.....

Naalala ko dati. Matrafic sa Monumento nakatigil FX ng friend ko may sumakay bigla at nagbayad. Sabi "Ma Recto lang"
But really. The FX is truly a reliable vehicle. 3 of my friends have FX. 2 gas and 1 diesel. Yung mga unang FX pag matagal na mahirap nang umahon pag uphill na 50 passengers lang (gas). Yung friend ko sa CEU dati kulay ref naka set up pa.

basta pag FX ka, be ready ka parakin ng mga buwaya sa daan.... colorum-->pumapasa na walang frankisa....or green plate ika nga...

other than that, is a nice ride din naman,e....

power windows--> sa front lang, ung nabibiling aftermarket na sinasalpak sa siding na buo... pero alam nyu ba may limited run/models na may factory-installed power windows!

interior convinience, kung stock, try to ride on those FX-mega taxis. pero mura lang naman ang surplus seats sa banawe, kunin mo yung seats na nakakabit sa 4runner/hilux-surf or AE101/sprinter/ recaros sa first row...then captain seats na galing sa town/master ace/delica or seats from hi-ace for the second row.... last row, retain mo yung orig side facing orget the 3rd row of the lite/master/townace-ace--> front facing na side folding...

kung maganda at makinis naman ang FX mo di ka naman siguro basta-basta paparahin, lalo na kung original "green"/private plate (usually T ang simula nun, not P)

sir, yung tamaraw FX as i know is one of the pioneer passenger AUV here in our country, so in most cases, it lacks the usual power amenities na meron ngayon sa mga current models ng AUV.basically yung FX kasi was designed to haul passengers. very crude yung design, somewhat an experimentation of incorporating the seating arrangement of an SUV to a smaller body of an AUV. pero it serves its purpose, kaya nag-click sa atin.

in terms of maintenance, ang sakit sa ulo lang naman ng FX e yung makina. initially, nakasalpak sa kanya e 5k. this is a small engine for its body size. kaya malakas sa gas. kaya pinalitan nila ng 7K. lumakas nga sa torque, pero malakas pa rin sa gas. hahaha. about their diesel engines... one word. panget. bad rep ang 2C. kung papa-overhaul ka rin lang nito, better kung magpalit ka na lang ng makina (and as for my case, nagpalit ako ng 4AGE). another member also had his engine to 4AGE. si EssB.
