December 15th, 2006 12:08 AM #1Is It True That Subic Cars Will No Longer Allowed To Be Used Here In Metro Manila. According To My Friend, Supreme Court Just Issued A Memo Just This Morning Re This Allegations And Will Be Effected This 2007. Also, They Will Not Be Allowed To Renew Here In Metro, Instead, They Could Renew Their Cars Only In Subic.
Is It Rumors Or Facts???? Pls Comment.

AFAIK, that only applies to vehicles which are yet to be imported or registered. They will need to pay a Php500k tax if they want to bring the vehicle out of the freeport.
Vehicles who were imported and registered before said regulations can be used like any regular vehicle.
