Best car reviewer in the Philippines?

My vote goes to Caco Tirona of autodeal PH.

The guy will give James Deakin a run for his money.

AutoIndusriya - Boring halatang may binabasa

TGP - Boring, Parang inaantok with cringy tito jokes

those "reviews" are useless. they don't tell you the real downsides

so better not contaminate your mind w/ the marketing BS regurgitated by these "reviewers". it's better to get the opinion of actual owners here in tsikot and similar places

agree, not much info sa mga local reviews but at least may nababasa

I didn't even know about visor.ph until I saw your list.

I don't read or watch local car reviews often, if at all. Integrity always takes a backseat to commercial interests and it's sometimes tiring trying to discern what they are not saying. Medyo cringy pa minsan mga statements at comments especially those aimed at evoking humor. I just read the specs, watch independent youtube reviews (usually foreign) and schedule a test drive.

And of course, kibitz here at Tsikot.com.

The character of the old timers and mods here are, how should I say it, an "acquired taste".

The local motoring press, however, does a good job at covering motoring issues, announcements and other things of interest. It's just that the car reviews happen to be almost always the weakest.

I agree with what you said about autoindustriya and topgear. Nakakatamad talaga basahin. Puro sugar coating pa. Pag nanlait yang dalawang yan, it must be really bad.

I like carguide reviews. Unbiased
