Warning: newbie po kaya pasensya na sa tanong

Sirs, I am just learning to drive. My brother is teaching me and I have also taken a few hours in a driving school. My main problem is in hanging (as in nasunog na yung clutch kakapractice ko ). Sabi lang ng brother ko timplahin, which is nahihirapan ako, laging umaatras or di kaya namamatay. So I went to a driving school. Kaso po I had 2 different instructors and used 2 different cars.

Yun pong Altis, kapag working level na ang clutch eh umuusad which I found easy to drive kasi hindi po ako umaatras sa hanging and madali pagapangin sa traffic. My instructor in that car told me (during hanging) to release the clutch to working level, release the foot brake, then step on the gas.

Yun naman pong Vios kailangan ng konting gas before I raise the clutch bago umusad, which nakasanayan ko naman. Even so, kaunting apak lang sa gas during hanging eh nagfoforward naman so inches lang inaatras ko. Kaya sabi ng instructor ko dun is step on the gas before releasing the clutch.

Yun naman pong Picanto (my car),like the Vios, i need to step on the gas before releasing the clutch kaso po during hanging hirap talaga ako, todo atras nangyayari or di kaya namamatayan. And napansin ko po sa clutch ng Picanto ko, at the working level, parang biglang wala yung friction so tumataas ang paa ko kaya ayun patay! Kapag below working level naman atras na may halong amoy sunog.

I really liked driving the Altis. Is there a way to adjust the clutch of my Picanto to behave that way? Or depende din po ba yun sa engine ng kotse? And ano po ba ang ideal na working level ng clutch, lower or higher? And ano po ba best practice sa hanging without using the hand brake? Gusto ko po kasi talaga matuto without relying on the hand brake because we'll never know baka bigla di kumapit (which I experienced kapag sobrang inclined na ang road sa Antipolo).

Thanks in advance mga experts!
