Rapide inputs needed

We used to have a branch of Rapide through franchise years back. It was expensive but they took care of everything, even the location where to put the branch. We didn't like the location they chose, but it was built anyway since we don't have a choice (either that or no deal). Plus, they were bragging that all of their branches had a minimum monthly income of blah blah blah (it was pretty high). During the first few months of operation we were at a loss, but we didn't give it up. Though we were blaming our losses to them because of poor location (the site they chose for us was "tago", as if they did it on purpose since we're just franchising). After a few more months money slowly came in but it was not what we were expecting and definitely it was not the minimum income Rapide told us it would be (we barely made ends meet), so the Rapide group suggested that they manage the branch for us for a few years and turn it over back to us, provided that it would be "money-generating" by the time they turn it over back to us.

Fast forward to the present... they now have complete control of our branch and kicked us off from the franchise for something that they're accusing us of that we didn't do. I'll leave the details, but we suspected that they were planning this to happen from the start. By the way, the branch that they refused to give up was already making lots of money by the time they're suppose to turn it over.

did your deal with rapide just verbal? im assuming you put out a certain amount of money to start the franchise up. and they just kicked you out? hmm.....new marketing strategy? reel them in and them throw them out once the business starts earning?
