The 4 four turbos are already in place including the pipes that supply them with fresh air and the pipes that leads to the intercoolers.

Pipes from the intercoolers to the carb box is already done.

The air Cleaner is positioned adjacent to the carb box to get fresh air from the hood scoop.

Air cleaner is evident inside the air scoop. This is a functional Ram Air scoop.

nice!!! nakakabit na yung 4 na turbo! vroooom!!!!
couple of questions lang sir turbo:

    1. Paano mo na co-control ang boost?
    2. Any changes sa engine internals prior to tubrocharging? im trying to think of the cheapest way to get extra HP for future upgrades
    3. Yan na ba yung pipes na gagamitin? Kelangan pa bang i-thermal wrap yan or coat?
    4. Magkano inabot? hehe
    6. What are the pros and cons of turbo vs NOS, i remember kasi naka NOS yung kay gatchalian, why did you opt for turbo? Which is cheaper?

    2. First the stock compression ratio of my 460(7.6 liter) is 8.0. So that will be ok. Pero to be sure bibili din ako ng Forged pistons kasi lalagyan ko din ng NOS Fogger. Meron na akong 2.25/1.75 valves. Need a camshaft with long exhaust duration and low lift. Rods and crank are already heavy duty, kasi truck motor to.

Mas matagal gawin dahil sa pipes, plumbing for air and oil and water. pero efficient power adder.

    Hope, I answered you.

how much psi are you planning?
carb or efi ba to?sorry no familiar with muscle car?
Why do you need to put 4 turbos?
sequantial ba or parallel ang design?

For this engine, 7.6 liter, which to begin has tons of torque, I am gunning from 7-10 psi. Anything more will be unmanageable. Although, I am putting a variable pressure regulator in the cockpit.

I am still using Holley Double Pumpers for simplicity and instant response.

I am using four small turbos so that boost will be instantaneous even at low rpm. And very few has done a 4 turbo set-up. I want to be different.

Parallel and design, easier to balance and no need of computer that will go wrong.

    I never rely on luck.

I have done it before on less rigid engines. Things will always go wrong, it was my job before I retire to make things go wrong less.

But this is something new, so I will just cross my fingers.

that thing will be f-ing sick. on that big an engine, i would think twins would be more than enough, but as you said, you want to be different...with 4 turbos, you'll certainly be top dog...unless your neighbor has a Veyron

how are you planning to put all that power onto the ground?

Rear end will be 315/35/17 rubbers I got from Ebay.

The differential is Dana 44 with 4.11 gears from a C4 Vette. I hope that it will not break. I used heavy duty square bars for the torque arm of the differential.

Stopping it will 4 disc on all side from a C4 Vette with hydroboost assist.
I reckon another 6 months to finish the project because I am doing the roll cage and further reinforcing the body. Baka pumilipit.

    Quad-turbo V8. Interesting

You plan to make this a drag racer or one of those 200mph long-range cruisers like I've seen in the Silver State classic?

With the 4.11 gears sitting at the rear end now, it will be a good drag car. But I'd rather use it as a cruise so back to ebay for 3.0/3.25 gears.

These are the wheels and tires I got from Ebay.

They are Vredestein 275/40ZR17's AND 315/35ZR17 tires. The Vredestein tires are designed in Europe where high performance cars must handle the challenges of the high speed Autobahn. They are speed rated at "Y" for up to 186 MPH!
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/81856035*N00/474038862/

    The front wheels are 17" x 9" (+24mm with 5.95" backspacing) and for the rear 17" x 10.5" (+27mm with 6.9" backspacing). I opted for the all-Chrome wheels.

Thanks for the clarification sir turbo

So before turbocharging, kelangan pala muna heavy duty internals. What about supercharging? Which is cheaper? kuripot kasi ako kahit nangangarap lang

Yes you have to have heavy duty rods, pistons, even 4 bolt bearing caps.

Hehehe.
