I guess it's a perfect time to buy a car since the year is ending due to the fact that dealerships give discounts on vehicles whose 1st year is ending.

What kind of discounts can I look forward to when purchasing a vehicle in the coming months?

We've finally saved up, and we're going to get an SUV type of vehicle such as the Crosswind. Also, when does this sale begin on year 2007 vehicles? We will probably start going around to Isuzu dealerships looking for the best offer.

Talaga ha. Last year ala akong masyadong nakuhang discount. I think mas maraming binibigay pag around March, kasi lalabas na mga new models.

Sabi nila dealers are more likely to give discounts/freebies at the end of each month, not at the end of the year. Allegedly, it has something to do with meeting their quota.

Usually the weakest month of sales is from July to Sept.

dapat lang na magbigay sila ng discount towards the end of the year.

if they don't sell the 2007 models by Dec. 31st, then their inventory will lose value because everyone will perceive those cars to be "a year old". would you buy even a new, never-driven 2006 model today? only if the price was very very low, right?

so dapat "motivated to sell" ang mga dealers come november. shop around and see what they will give you. i know iba ang market sa US at sa Pinas, but here it's not uncommon to see discounts from 10-20%, or prices at dealer cost.

Korek ka dyan bro! Mas madali kumuha ng discount at the end of each month.

I love doing that among dealers. Meron pa yung magtatanong kunyari sa supervisor tapos babalik after 5 mins at sasabihin, "Sir, pwede raw po pala yung nirerequest niyo.

Well, so far mas nauutakan ko sila. They need us more than we need them.

It depends. Basta your more likely to get additional perks daw if you get a unit towards the end of each month.

What I'm currently doing right now is to check all the dealers that I can find.. Iba iba kasi offers nila...

    I'm currently looking for a Ford Focus 2.0 A/T

and so far heres what I got.

    Dealer A:
    1,025,000 (Less 30k)

    Dealer B:
    1,025,000 (Less 26k, Free LTO Registration 6.9K)

    Dealer C:
1,025,000 (Free Insurance 50++K, Free LTO Registration 6.9K)

So far, Dealer C yung the best.. but we can always look for other dealers and tell them about what dealer C can offer me... That way iisip sila ng way na para mapabili ka sa kanila... so gagawa sila ng mas magandang offer...

There are 2 companies that own the Honda dealerships here in Metro Manila. The Yuchengco Group and Ayala Group. Honda Kalookan, Quezon Av, Manila, Marikina and Fairview belong to the Yuchengcos while Honda Makati, Alabang, Shaw, Pasig and Global City are under the Ayalas. I suggest you also inquire from 1 of the Ayala dealerships and compare their offer with the 1 you got from Honda QA.

    ^ Medyo tama.

Medyo strict Honda sa pricing, parang sabwatan narin.
