I know some people have the luxury of using them as daily drivers, cars like ferraris, porsches and amgs... but for me, I work too damn hard to beat them up The ferrari for me will be "hopefully" the last exotic car I'll buy

So whats your daily driver? I have a friend who work in an embassy and his wife work for the world bank and they got a E350 for weekend. Very nice and humble couple. They drive a 16 year old Camry for work and the E for weekends. One thing i "envy" about those couple is, the dont have to pay taxes because its a "foreign" embassy. They get all US and Australian holidays, plus 4 weeks of holidays, plus you can go to work anytime you want as long as you work for 7.5 hours a day. That's a job i wanna have when i get a bit older - and i'd be driving a bling bling to work everyday. Hard to drive a car with a low profile tire in DC.

BTW, how many kids do you have SPeedy?

Shaq, sounds like your friends do have a really good deal! With hard work and some luck, anybody could make a good living here in the US. Definitely enough to buy toys! Btw, I have 2 girls (3yr old and 10mo ). Yeah I know, don't worry, they'll be car nuts like their dad How about you, how old is your kid?

I got one - a little bit older than your first born and she can name cars, well, at least the nice cars, when were on the road..LOL.

5 series is a good daily....I would definitely get a 5 again if i go back with bimmers. The 7 would be nice if only they come with small block 6 cylinder engine or anything that is more environment friendly.

That great! Training needs to start early! This 5 has been so reliable and the looks are impecable. Im not too crazy about the new designs and giving up this 5 has been rather difficult. Its been well taken care of and no dings or scuffs. I am sure you take care of your tt just as much. Specially with the aluminum body and all....

Yeah, i just try to be very careful where i park. The tt's body is softer than the bimmer. Ive been hit a few times with my previous rides (E36 and E46) and they can pretty handle the beating and i can't remember a single time that i had to worry about where to park.

BTW, I love those stock BBS wheels in your 5

Also, is that a hard top on your vette? Niceee...i just wish the body, interior and doors were as solid as the german cars.

So you got a Vette, an AMG SL, a 530i and an H2?
So which one does your wife drive?

Btw, vette is a hard top. Z06 only came in the hard top model. It gives the car a bit of rigidity.

Its a Tank! Nah, its a good safe car for the kids and great to haul dirt and stuff! Wife had a head on collision with a Jag XJ8 conv. No one hurt, totaled the jag but the suburban sustained 2k worth of damage. Replaced front bumper, nothing else! Its a tank!

I sold my previous modded TT and got this barebone stock (as per my wife's request). So, may stay that way for a few months - LOL.

    Mods on my list:
    1. Turbo boost gauge
    2. K&N
    3. Revo chip - 40hp/77ft-lb of torque gain, 15 minute reflash of the ECU (not physical chip)
    4. LLtek roof spoiler
    5. DG short shifter
    6. 19" wheels

Thats about it...by the time i put all those, it would be time for me to get a new toy....

    What's yours Speed?

    Sorry shaq, typo.
Sounds like your wife gave you a second chance huh? That like a mulligan at golf! For me, I prefer the low key, unassuming look. Stock appearances but killer engines. Besides, I've been burned with buying cars that are mods.
