March 22nd, 2008 01:14 AM #1Mga kasama, newbie driver here.
Any tips naman dyan how to drive a lowered car?
Especially on how to engage ung mga steep ramps at huge
speed bumps na hindi sumasayad ung ilalim.
Thanks po in advance!

Bro kung sa mga humps problem mo then try to go sideways on it .. parang pa zigzag yung daan mo .. kelangan isang gulong lang unang tatapak para hindi sabay pag angat at pag baba ng car .. by this it can avoid the cars under from touching the humps ..
hope it helps ..

naku, bakit ka naglowered?? joke lang.
ako din po lowered
if approaching a humps na hindi gaano kataasan, porma ka sa rightside then if you feel the hump coming, todo kabig papuntang left. dapat front right then sabay yung front left and rear right then todo kabig sa sa right.

March 22nd, 2008 11:59 AM #5approaching side ways to the humps on your lowered car is only good is you can maintain 1 wheel up on the humps... if you approach from the right side, just before your left front tire going down the humps, your rear right tire should be already going up the humps, this is the only way you can avoid your car hitting the humps...
but if you cannot do the above procedure, approaching sideways will not do you any good, better to approach the humps straight but slowly...
for example when you are entering a village guardhouse wherein your manuevering will be limited, even though you approached sideways still you cannot maintain 1 tire above the humps because of the limited space...

yup, thats the concept... pero the way i do it kasi yung front left and rear right sabay nakaanagat sa humps. then kung lapit na sa sidewalk kabig na todo right. hindi pa naman pumapalya yung technique. hehehe
minsan lang talaga, sa entrance ng mga guard house... wala ka choice than to just drive slow. yung akin kasi dati 0 gap na sa fender kaya sasayad talaga.

Hhmm, after reading all of your tips, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about a lowered car - is it really worth the hassle?
I know that damaging those body kits can be really expensive specially if it occurs often.

Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
