Nothing special... but I grew up reading about classic cars, always wanted to have one.... maybe someday...

I was severely criticized by a friend when I decided to modernize certain parts of my '67 mustang convertible. My friend owns a "concourse" Shelby GT350 which he imported from the U.S.

Guess what... the 1966 GT350 all original parts may not be drivable in this time and age particularly in our roads. This I found out when I test drove my friend's car late last year.

I may be bias but I believe that the performance of my modified '67 convertible will surpass that of the '66 Shelby.

You're right... if one treats such cars as investments, the "concourse way" is mandatory. But if you really plan to put the car in the road, then you have no choice but to modernize.

I guess this is where cars like UniquePerformance's GT500E with updated mechanical parts come in.... handles better, safer and more drivable...

How about Aston Martin DB6s and Jaguar XJs? I've never came across one in our roads. They're not necessarily muscle cars, but they're well known sports cars from the past.

Haven't seen an Aston Martin DB6 yet, but I've seen a couple of classic Jaguar XJs in the past few months (a series 1 XJ at QC and a series 2 XJ at Wilson).

Usually we convert it to 2nd generation spindles and calipers. Pero meron akong 1 set ng used Corvette calipers for 16K.

    Converted na ang sayo.

    Walang Yutivo na front disc.

Yung pareho ng Corvette, COPO yon, Z28 lang ang meron.

Text mo lang ako sa 0917 5167702.

4 piston ba yng caliper mo? or the standard single floating caliper?
