this is the 1st time in along while that corolla sold more units than the civic (in america). last year the civic was no.8 (313,000 sold) and corolla no.11 (240,000). the civic in the US is sold in 4 variants- sedan,coupe, hathcback (Si) and hybrid. the corolla in 2 variants only, the sedan and hatchback (MATRIX).
