December 31st, 2004 03:09 PM #21Ok yung land trip na yun especially the Cagayan de Oro to Davao City via Bukidnon (not sure about the highway name). Medyo bago ang daan and very smooth ang dride.
Took us about 5-6hours and the view was very beautiful. Makakalimutan mo na nasa Pilipinas ka.
I took that trip using my motorcycle btw.

January 14th, 2005 09:38 PM #22vhenok,

salakot resto/ shell at gumaca quezon: masarap salakot fried rice nila, but after a kilometer meron dyang Jollibee.
biggs 24/7 (caltex) resto at pili: masarap food dito

January 30th, 2005 02:31 PM #24Vhenok! If you were a woman I would kiss you. Ang hanep mo talaga at laki ng tulong mo para sa mga katulad ko na balak ring mag land trip but instead to Cebu. Just a few more questions... Had you tried also before from Leyte to Cebu? To my understanding, the gateway to further south is somewhat the island of Leyte. From there one can go mindanao via the routes you mentioned earlier and one can go to Cebu via another route which is where particularly in Leyte? Saan ba tayo dadaan? Is there another ferry? I imagine there is, pero saan naman kaya? Na imagine ko lang yong mga routes na sinabi right after mag exit ka sa SLEX kasi several years back I've gone as far as Candelaria but I don't know now what has changed ever since especially the road conditions. Buti nalang may nag post dito na katulad mo. I had been struggling hard searching for this info dahil even yong WOW philippines site is virtually useless. Kaya cguro isa sa mga dahilan yan na walang gaanong toursists na magpunta dito dahil kulang tayo sa information. Akala nila lahat nang mag tour sa country side ay naka ayroplano. In fact you are the best source so far sa lahat. You're simply amazing. I have also have found this related maps according to your despcriptions.
At ito yong mga related na maps. From South Luzon Expressway to the tip of Luzon island.

Naghanap hanap ako yon lang ang nakita ko pero this will help me a lot.

February 11th, 2005 10:45 PM #25leyte to cebu:
the cheapest ferry is via isabel, leyte to danao, cebu. lagi lang puno dahil mura. one trip a day pero balita ko ginawa na yatang twice a day.
you can also try the super shuttle ferry at ormoc. leaves ormoc at 12 midnight arrives cebu at daybreak. medyo mahal lang, mga 2,500 ang gastos.

April 16th, 2005 05:40 PM #27Davao Chatter here! di kasi alam kung South or North Cotabato ang pupuntahan mo.
NORTH COTABATO to ( Cotabato City) = Take this route: Liloan-Surigao-Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Malaybalay-Valencia-BUDA(Bukidnon-Davao)-Digos-Kidpawan-Cotabato City.
Note: Malaybalay and Valencia is part of Bukidnon.
I am sure dating mo sa Surigao from liloan early morning. So Biyahe na to Davao then sleep over ka na rito. Then next day take the trip to Cotabato City (4 to 5 hours)
Surigao to Cagayan (3 to 4 hours)
Cagayan to Davao (6 plus hours)
If South Cotabato naman: take this route.
Liloan-Surigao-Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Malaybalay-Valencia-BUDA(Bukidnon-Davao)-Digos-General Santos City-Marbel
DAVAO TO DIGOS = at least one hour.
DIGOS TO GENERAL SANTOS = 2 plus hours!
text me at 09165132662 if in case my iba kang info na puwede kong masagot. Good Luck sa trip and have a grand time. Sana naka tulong yung info!

Wow! Sarap nyang byaheng yan. Already did luzviminda and back for maybe atleast 3 roundtrips some 12 yrs ago. I was assigned in surigao sur that time. Too, bad i can't go on that kind of landtrip again kasi i have a new job in Qc now. I truly miss the roads of mindanao, samar, leyte and bicol. Maybe in a few yrs time, i'll do it again with my wife and kid. Let me know kung matutuloy kayo. may still give you some tips.
