AFAIK... the static shock is caused mostly by fuel efficient and/or high mileage (durable tires... because of their high silicone content, they don't ground the car as well as stickier rubber.

And this is an old thread... why are people bringing them back up?

Grr... I usually "shock" myself by touching the metal with my elbow/knee or something para malaki agad yung surface at di masakit hehe.

eh wala pala kayo sakin eh...ahrhahrahhr

seriously, when i was still 2 years old, i accidentally touched a live wire from an exposed extension cord.

until now, i still have the scar sa left pointer finger ko...and i never knew my yaya....not because she died.hahahah. but because she left na when we got better =)

    sorry ot!!!!

Yep..static electricity yan. I used to have that problem when it was cold living in the United States. Try mo ito. When going out to your car..dont touch it. Take your key, and touch your car door with your key. Then you can open your door without being shocked.
