Sa golf tourneys, bukod sa number 1 winner, may special award sa mga kulelat they call it the kalabasa award...

Patapos na ang 2006 at sa dami ng mga posts dito, may car brands/models na nag stand out as talagang maganda, value for money and may very good after sales service. In other words may total customer satisfaction.

On the contrary, may mga models na errr.. didnt live up to our expectations. As we can see ang hahaba ng thread nila. Yung may woes tsaka lemonade. Pati yung may problema sa injectors. to name a few. Who do you think gets this prestigious award?

Cool. was trying to create a thread for this and you hit the nail right on the head. for me the fact that i couldnt post here is a kalabasa award on its own.

would like to hear feedback on autos too.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes. But, over here....... it's not really a bad car. But, it'll have to be the Ford 500. The Fusion seems to have superseded it in every way.

I am not voting on this, as I am happy with our two 'almost 2-year old' vehicles.

Although, I must admit that the after-sales-service of the Korean brand is a lot better than the Japanese's....

I said the Ford 500 deserved Kalabasa of the year. I can't say the same about their service........

While we wait for our Ford Contour get a tuneup........

    1. Free shuttle bus/van to drive us straight to our house and also free pick-up from our house back to the Ford service center.

    2. If I choose to stay and wait, there's:
    a. Free computer use with fast adsl.
    b. A full-blown cafeteria right there at the waiting room (there's also free doughnuts and coffee)
    c. Having a Ford GT and Saleen Mustangs to ogle, seat inside, and get comfy with
    d. Comfortable leather sofas with 50" plasma tv's and cable tv.

I love our Ford dealer. I'm just disappointed with the 500.

Ah... our local Ford dealership doesn't have a customer cafeteria (their cafeteria is in the service bay... kind of a long walk), but they have free coffee, juice, water and movies... and very comfy armchairs to sleep in.

Kalabasa award for the year? There should be categories. Like:

Fit and Finish - Honda City/Civic?
Mechanical Reliability - Toyota D4D (although my co-worker's Innova is still fine)?
Driving Experience - hmmmmmm...... what's the worst drive...
Fuel Efficiency Award - Guess the Optra's out of the running this year... :hihihi:

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    my suggestion:
    1. one award na lang for sedan (including compacts and sub-compacts) and another for auvs/suvs.
    2. criteria: workmanship; comfort and luxury; engine performance; and fuel efficiency

for sedan, my votes goes to honda city. (zero siya sa workmaship)

Kalabasa Award..
