Based on experience, its better to keep the stock wires (make sure they're in good shape though) and plug set-up (properly gapped with the proper heat range specs). A friend told me before that the dynos at Autoplus could not pick-up any HP gains with such upgrades on basically stock/slightly modded engines (it can be diff if you're carrying serious mods and complete ignition systems though). You'll be able to free more HP by advancing the timing and using high octane fuel together IMO.

May 5th, 2004 03:27 AM #12don't waste money on HT wires. unless you have a heavily modified ride (turbo or high compression) you will feel minimal gain with the addition of the wires.
