Question lang po, I`ll be buying my FIRST EVER (yey!) car this month... 2000 Honda Civic Vtec po siya... the problem is, emerald green yung color... eh, my friends are saying na ipa re-paint ko siya into another color...
erm... pang "tatay" raw kasi emerald green... what do you think guys? Should i stay with the original emerald green paint or palitan ko? Ano ba mas bagay sakin?

btw, i`m only 22, single...male (don`t be misled by my account name =D)... and I work in a bank. =D

    Thanks guys! =D

I am also not fond of the "Emerald Green" color of the Civic.

May binabagayan lang ang green kasi like Jaguars or a Benz.

if its still in perfect condition, the paint i mean then just stick with your original paint .. nothing beats an original paint car ... just have it detailed and maintained regulary then your ok kaysa naman sa maganda nga kulay ng kotse mo laspag naman .. whats the point ?

pero pag masama na kulay ng kotse mo then by any means go on repaint the car ... mas presentable rin ang makinis na kotse sa kotseng masama nag itsura ...

color? the usual, white black .. RED for me is the best

Also relatively larger vehicles such as SUVs and AUVs.

Here's one thread that discusses complaints about Honda's factory paint finish. Read around, and then decide if you want to keep the stock paint or change it altogether.

If the paint's still in good condition, I'll spend my money on other mods.

umm, aside from some scratches, ok pa naman yung paint niya. =D

thanks for your opinions guys, medyo na-bobother lang talaga ako sa mga sinasabi ng mga friends ko na ang "green" and "maroon" ay kulay na pang "tatay"... hehe. =D

btw, meron ba kayong experiences wherein nagpa-repaint kayo ng car, tapos pumangit pa lalo ang kalabasan? =(

Unless you are getting a very good deal on this car, why not just look for a different car/color?
Yung sigurado ka talaga sa color, go for something you like no matter what other people say. Pera mo naman ung bibili nung tsikot, so dapat ikaw yung 100% satisfied di yung ibang tao.
    Good luck

not really fond of green on any car but when detailed, maganda din ang green, yung green ng gen1 grv pag tama pagkadetail parang may tricolor effect, on angles it has a purple "haze" galing, gulat customer, first time daw nya nakita ganun ung oto nya.

and like they said, if it ain't broke why fix it... yaan mo sila, opinion lang nila yun na pang tatay yung green, i'll rather spend the money on a budget sound setup and the rest for maintenance...

Hi guys! =D
