Curious lang ako.... What cars that were sold here flopped to a lot of factors? (sales, performance, reliability, dealer support).. Just curious bout it.

Honda Pilot - wrong price, bland looks, drives like a boat. Too "American" for a japanese car.

Chery QQ - units broke down constantly

2010 Nissan Sentra 2.0L - priced too expensive, car too basic, looks too bland. Too bad because it drifts well.

    PHUV AUV - stillborn.

Honda HRV - smaller engine compared to. the gen1 crv. smaller space.bland tape deck head unit.

Toyota Echo Verso - Need I explain more?

Mazda 6 2004 - who wouldve thought that a year or two after,a simple aesthetic upgrade would.make this car look so beautiful and the upgrade to a 2.3 was
    Just.my two cents

Alfa Romeo also in the 90s. They launched two models here but the brand did not last that long here.

mga line up na nawala na:

200sx, verita(retro-march), maxima, cefiro, bluebird, odyssey, legend, hr-v, pilot, endeavor, terrano/pathfinder, serena, corona/carina, MPV, lantis, VW.

may mga units na good riddance:

tata, daewoo (kaya nga nag-rebadge to chevy sila sa atin,e).

yup, alfa, peugeot did not last long... opel din, di na naka-recover muli

    Volkswagen (are they still here?)
    Proton
Rover (the car, not the 4x4)

the brands of the former Auto Prominence Group were all flops!

Di naman sya too expensive in my view, di lang kaya isikmura ng Pinoy na Hyundai worth as much as a Pajero or a Prado... So they end up getting those...

Anyway sa Suzuki naman yung SX-4, both sedan and hatchback.. Ugly sobra yung sedan, mahal sobra yung hatchback. FLOP...

Nissan SENTRA 200 na USDM. Major flop because of the price and features...

Honda HR-V... Flopped due to ugliness...

The Peugeot brand flopped here as well... And a lot of Chevrolet and Opel cars mostly their mid size sedans...

The Toyota Prius I would say is a flop too sales wise... Parang bakit pa nila dinala dito if they will just sell less than 20 units, sana nag special order na lang Toyota. Waste of marketing and showroom space...

The VW Polo Classic... Not even a VW, its a SEAT!

Kaya nga. That's what I'm trying to point out. hehehe..

Pero kung ako ang kukuha, tapos di ko naman dadalahin sa bundok, VeraCruz na. May brand new pa akong nakita sa Hyundai Lipa Batangas, kahapon lang. Sakto color white
