Flopped vehicles in the Philippines

Not exactly a flop, how about the Chevy Venture? Sa dami kasi ng Venture, yung bayaw ko lang ata ang kilala ko na natutuwa sa Venture nya. Kadalasan kasi puro horror stories ang naririnig ko pag dating sa Venture.

Ang maganda lang sa Venture eh sobrang stable sa high speed at ang soft ng suspension.

Speaking of the Venture, my auntie also had one... Wala binenta na sobrang palugi just to get rid of it... Cursed Chevy and not to buy one again...

hahaha yup. Actually the Trailblazer exterior looks nice in Black(forget about the other colors), its just the interior thats really old school. It's not a bad car overall, rides extremely well and engine has enough grunt.

Most of the Hyundais before flop kasi panget except maybe for the Starex, pero now ang ganda na ng mga Hyundai.

Grand Vitara madalang ako makakita.

RAV4 halos wala compared to tucson/xtrail/escape/sportage

SX4 wala rin. either sedan or hatch.

lahat ng chinese brands... flop. Lifan, Geely, Great Wall, Foton, Chana, etc etc. Chery meron konti.

mazda6 mas konti pa kesa mga bimmers at mercs. genesis sedan wala rin. coupe marami

galant at teana mas konti pa kesa mazda6 hehe. wala na atang pag asa... pinasok na ang sonata sa pinas eh

Ang Vitara lang naman na bumenta e yung 1st gen, pero kasi wala pa mga CRV at RAV 4 noon.

Yung current RAV4 naman presyo ang pumatay dyan, mas type ko pa yan kesa yung CRV na kuba.

Saksakan naman talaga ng pangit yung SX4 mapa sedan o hatchback.

Yung mga Chinese brands naman mahirap na makipagsapalaran dyan, pero nabalitaan ko sa mga kasamahan ko sa office na nag-close na daw yung Chery dito sa Pinas.

Maganda din sana yung Mazda 6 di lang talaga pumatok dito sa atin. Yung Genesis na sedan di na ako nagtataka kung bakit flop, ang mahal naman kasi (3M), with that money, Lexus na lang o Benz saka BMW na lang.

Yung Galant naman saka Teana wala naman talagang binatbat sa Camry and new Sonata.

Actually muntik pa maging 2 yung Venture ng bayaw ko, nung binenta nila yung Lancer na itlog nila, humirit pa yung ate ko na Venture na lang ulit kesa mag Ford Escape, buti na lang wala na silang makuhang Venture.

Yung Hyundai Azera,flop yan..Pangit kasi..

Nilabas noon ng HARI dito yung 1st gen Santa Fe at panay 2.4 Liter 2WD GLS at yung very expensive na 2.7 Liter V6 GLS 4WD ang dinala nila rito..Nasa 1.4M to 1.728M Pesos noon yan.. Yung Hyundai XG250 na overpriced din noon..

Yung current RAV 4 eh marami nyan dahil naging mabenta yan nung unang labas nyan(daming kumagat).Ganoon din sa Grand Vitara except yung XL-7 variant.

Yung Chery buhay pa at Prince Motors ng Taiwan ang bagong partner ng Iseway Philippines.May plans nga na gumawa sila ng local assembly plant later this year.

Chevrolet Venture?Di naman flop yan dahil marami ding nabenta nyan noon pero just like the Optra eh nung nalaman na malakas sa gas to eh nagflop na nang tuluyan.

Lifan and mukang next Chinese car maker to fail after Geely... They still have just one dealership along West Ave. and I always pass by and wala talaga silang customers... Tambak na ng sasakyan yung parking lot nila. Poor Lifan... Pangit din kais ng mga kotse nila eh to be honest...

Aaminin ko na sumablay din ako sa prediction ko dati. When the first FX wagon came out, sabi ko mahihirapan ito bumenta kasi mahal. Pero look what happened? It went on to become the best selling vehicle during its time.

Kaya minsan matindi rin ako sumablay.

Mahina sila dito, they are not made taxis here. Dito ang taxi either Toyota Vios or Hyundai Accent lang. Sometimes on rare instances Corolla Altis or Nissan Sentra (old model)

That's just based on my views here in Metro Manila. Its quite a rare here in Manila. I don't see one everyday. Siguro in a month less than 5. I can't even remember the last time i saw one

I think it didn't sell as Isuzu expected it to. Panget kasi talaga. Even with body kits and rims. There's a reason why they package it with a lot of toys, para lang bumenta.
