as to it being the COTY 2003. I've tried scouring the web for it and it is only the Performance COTY 2003 for automag.com

The Opel Speedster Turbo may be fast, but on Britain's Channel 5 Fifth Gear show, Tiff Needell did a back to back comparison with the Lotus Elise /Exige (with the american spec Toyota Celica engine... 190 hp)
He drove the Elise about a second faster on a closed circuit.
Power isn't everything.
