April 28th, 2003 12:20 PM #32turbo back & downpipe should be over 20 hp increase. I was going for an apr stage3(290 horsepower and 296 foot-pounds of torque at the flywheel on 93 octane gas) 2 months ago but decided to get a big screen tv and another project car instead. maybe next summer.
ang masarap lang dito sa u.s. eh madali kang magupgrade kung ano gusto mo kaya very tempting.

April 28th, 2003 07:19 PM #33Paul,
Yup yun yung tinutukoy ko. Forgot to mention nagswap na siya ng STi / Brembo brakes and 6-speed tranny. Hindi pala bolt-on. Order siya bagong driveshafts / hub assembly na kasama sa brakes at I think prop shaft. Sayang yung makina na nakuha niya blow-by na.
Ganda ng Prodrive niya na mags noh? Medyo kung lang pagkakalower IMHO.

April 28th, 2003 10:48 PM #34OT - gas octane
buti pa sa japan... nagbabasa ako sa site ng JIS, requirement nila for fuel to be advertised as "high-octane" dapat minimum 100MON. figure that will be about 105-110 octane in the states, and about 110-115 octane using philippine measurements... no wonder they can have 1000+hp skylines and supras 8O

splerdu, great point and you are right kapatid. mapapansin mo na tumataas ang gas prices kung summer sa states dahil sa pag drain ng lower octane sa tanks.
BTTT:
RS Sprint, 300HP is taking a chance on my OE tranny. Ayoko masira tranny ko then hahagilap pa ako ng tranny if I messed it up. maganda na yung may back-up agad. mahirap wala sa budget ng mods pag nasira tranny. medyo mahal yon 8O . nabasa ko sa last reply mo, nagpalit na sya ng STi 6-spd tranny before 300 or after 300?
Prodrive P1 ba yung nakita nyo? Bigat lang kse ng P1, pero it wouldnt matter kung 300HP, hahaha. alam nyo bang 85% of Subaru owners have the ROTA wheels? Mabentang mabenta dito yan!
1.8T, sinabi mo pa bro, kaka adik ang mods ng car  good thing about the Vishnu Stage path, kung may Stage 0,1,and 2 ka na, deduct mo na lang yung price ng Stage 3 kse Stage 3 components comprises stage 0-2. Stage Zero is best bang for the buck, $1,300 and WRX's HP will jump to 280HP. I had my GS-R Integra and kulang pa ang $1.3k to get the HP I need

April 29th, 2003 08:23 AM #36Karding,
Nope Prodrive GC-O7C mags na kinabit niya.
AFAIK nagpalit yung owner ng STi 'box after siya mag palit ng turbine, so he had 225-227 wheel HP even before nilagay niya yung STi 6-speeder.

wow! I wonder kung pareho ng specs ang old tranny nya and mine. Pero knowing how ridiculous they trim the US specs down, I doubt it.
GC-07C, eto pala ang ginagaya ng Rota SDR.

May 2nd, 2003 11:17 PM #38I believe somewhere in my c drive i have a mpeg showing JUN's evo (yellow one) very interesting. In my opinion and since i have a follower of an evolution forums and scooby mas capable ang EVO kesa sa scooby. Last two week i had an opportunity to test drive an EVO 8 all i can say is RAW POWER... and comparing it to a SCOOBY ... masyadong malambot...in cornering mas gusto ko yung EVO.... as for the tranny you wouldn't really care if there is 5 speed or 6 speed especially when you are in the TRACK.....
I'll take a 6.5 makinnen anytime...
RIDE ON...

May 2nd, 2003 11:47 PM #39Sabi nga sakin ng 3 local tuners na its easier to coax power out of the Mitsu 4G63 kumpara sa SUbaru EJ20. Pero the new JDM STi with the twin scroll titanium turbo (like the Evo's) seems to be very good in OE trim power-wise.

Looks like TGPH silently edited the article and removed the entry for Velocita Motors/Ferrari.
