    I've tried this on my previous ride... the gadget works on a small scale but I can't say if it really works on a car. But my previous car didn't have any rust spots up to the time I got a new car.

    Hello peeps,

    My uncle's starex is equiped with this electronic rust proofing thingie (similar in principle to magnetizing the body to reverse polarity). He swears by it and I saw the undecarriage of his starrex and it really looks pretty much rust free considering its age and its country of origin (hehe).

    and his starex was among the crappy batch with premature rustings on the side/front panels.


    So you believe in this device?

    e diba pag nilagyan mo ng underbody paint yung may rust proof e hindi na kakalawangin yung underbody mo?

    I will ask him pa. 6k daw pakabit nya. hmmm... basta may maliit na match-box size thingie with led lights tapos all through out the undercarriage, maraming mga "nodes" na connected with wires (probably to distribute the current evenly). sorry bro di ko pa talaga alam ang details kasi hindi rin sila nagkabit (tho they have a talyer).

    his undercarriage is not painted or chemically rust-proofed.

    i remember that gadget. rustomizer ata yon. ang alam ko yung shop e sa may kamias kalayaan.

    may friends ako that swears by it as well... especially for older cars... yung sa friend ko na W123, yung existing rust spot nya di lumalala kahit matagal na...

    I think rustomizer sells for 2500 or so, sa buy and sell there's this guy Jun that has been selling it for years...

    it works. the principle is based on giving the car body an electrolitic charge that repels oxygen, acids and salt.

    you can achieve the same effect by soldering/bolting a piece of zinc bar to the chassis and car body panels. or simply getting a can of cold anodizing paint (zinc paint) and spraying the inside panels of the car body.

    ang alam ko aluminum paint gamit nila, that is why pag nagalusan mag-rust din. zinc paint has anodizing effect, kahit na magalusan hindi mag-rust kasi zinc acts as the sacrificial metal.

    Sir saan nakakabili ng Zinc paint? Kasi yung Zinc bar sabi sa aken it works pag kumakalat yung Zinc sa metal portion.......

    may number ba kyo nun electronic rustproofing alam ko sa quezon city lng yan. tagal na nyan ah. di lng ako makapagpalagay dhil wlang sobrang dtng.

    pag ganitong tag ulan lam ko may promo sila...

    may naka gamit na po ba nito? effective po ba? ano po reviews?
