we have a running debate here in the office about the new 7's, Z4, and now the new 5's. some claim the design of chris bangle was meant to grow in you - angular and avant garde. some say though that it's just downright hideous and ugly (some say fugly).
for me, I like the following designs: bmw2002, E36, E46, E39, and the X5. :wink:

Its trying too hard to separate itself from the pack. It ended up being a caricature.

April 4th, 2003 12:42 AM #9IMO it doesn't really "grow" on you, you just get used to it. A beautiful car for me is something that you know right away when you see it. And that, and some of Bangle's creations aren't. :x
