Dunlop or Bridgestone

I am also currently using Bridgestone Potenza G3, ok nga siya sa wet. Halos pudpud na siya ngayon, i think mga 2~3 months na lang ang itatagal ng set na ito. overall, i used it for about 50,000kms. i average about 15,000kms a year, so mga 3+ years.

I also love the sidewall design niya, may rim protector siya para di sumayad yung rim sa curbs.

I can't say anything about the lm702 since i have no experience with it.

I'll most probably going to get another set of g3. Mga magkano na kaya ito ngayon (range) para sa 195/55/15?

un din ang gusto ko sa gIII, ung makapal ung sidewall niya, lampas don sa lip ng rim. kaya pag tumama ka sa gutter ung tire muna tatama. hindi basta-basta magagasgasan ung rims mo.

I'll go for BRIDGESTONE is I were you. From my personal experience, Bridgestone is a good brand of tire. Tahimik and importante pantay yung thread kapag na pudpud. Hindi pa sya nag oblong minsang na running flat ako. Cool yun dude. Guaranteed, go for Bridgestone. ...... ehemm, i'm not working for any tire company ha.

Salamat sa lahat ng nag-reply. Mukhang GIII's na talaga kukunin ko. May problema lang. Di ko alam kung available yun sa 215/50-17 na size. Tiningnan ko sa website nila, 215/45-17's lang yata meron. Gusto ko 50 series na sidewall para di masyadong mukhang angat yung kotse. Ayoko na sanang i-lower para stock pa rin ride height. Hmmmm . . .

Hi guys! Am thinking of changing the wheels on my 95 Accord to 7 x 17's. 215/50-17 yung size. Am choosing between Dunlop LM702 and Bridgestone Potenza GIII for tires. Anyone have any experience with these? Ano mas OK in terms of tire noise, treadwear, ride comfort? I dont dragrace my car or anything. Madalas ko lang i-biyahe sa NLEX at sustained high-speeds (140kmh). Any suggestions?

Imho, the g3 is far more superior than the lemans. Whats nice abt the lemans is its cheap compared to the other Japanese made tyre. Downside to the lemans is that its slippery in dry roads what more on wet conditions. Tirewall not that tough. The good points are its comfy, cheap and lasts a long time so for city driving its great just dont look for performance. The g3s on the other hand are superb in dry conditions, wet condition pretty good but not as good as the Eagles. IF you want tyre with high performance features, go for the G3s. Dont forget to have it filled with nitro, itll save u gas and would increase tire life enjoy ur tyres

BTW If you want a product from dunlop that is in the same bracket as the g3s, try direzza, theyre pretty good too. The lemans and g3s are not in the same level.

Di ba mas katapat ng G3 yung Formula FM901 ng dunlop? Dati kasi noong nag research ako, ito ang madalas i-compare. Mukhang ok din ata yung FM901.

May nahanap na nga akong 215/50-17 na GIII. Yun na kukunin ko. Narinig ko na rin yung nitrogen ang kinakarga sa gulong. To ensure constant tire pressures and make them last longer. San dito nagpapakarga nun and how much?

Kung nitro na ang kinarga ko, how often do i have to check them? Normally I check my pressures every 3 days kasi madalas ko i-biyahe sa NLEX at high-speeds. Ibig ba sabihin, pag medyo bumaba, karga ulit ako ng nitro?

nitro sa tireboy is 75 per tyre. unlimited refills na yun. sa experience ko, a month ago ako nagpakarga tapos kahapon pinacheck ko ulit (after a month), 1 psi lang nabawas sa isang gulong. yung 3, same pa rin pressure.

....yung pagtanggal ba nung "pito" is enough to remove the existing air? o kelangan gamitin pati weight ng oto to drain it completely? gusto ko rin i-try mag nitro eh. 50bux/tire sa minerva.
