If you got into an accident and you lost electrical power (like you fell into a river or crashed into something), di ka na makakalabas ng kotse. hehe.
looks neat though (and it says that i can be operated manually).
In an accident scenario, not as easy as swinging a door open.Last edited by Horsepower; December 1st, 2007 at 02:54 PM.

un nga ang downside ng sliding doors din--pag sa accident--mas mahirap siyang buksan...

Nice! It looks really NICE! Pero, safety first. I agree with the posts above that it's more difficult to open them during accidents.

My concern:
-door may not resist a side impact collision as well as a conventional door. In fact it might not resist at all.
-door might not open if the door frame rails are misaligned due to a car accident. In this scenario, even conventional doors might jam shut.
-long term use of this door design is in question because of long term durability questions on its mechanism. To open normally, the window and door must both roll down. If the rails or electric motor itself have problems, (like the window portion does not roll down), you will have problems getting in or out of the car.

i wouldn't install this in my car.
the only good application i can think of is when parking in very tight places and dikit na dikit ka sa katabing car. pero advantage yun sa katabi mo na car kasi you wouldn't bump the car when opening your door - eh paano naman kotse mo pag nagbukas na siya ng door?
Yes kasi adjusted na nila yun binayaran mo initially to reflect yun correct plate ending mo, that's...
