ang mahal sa casa tapos gagawin pusit pusit lang mas mabuti pa sa labas or sa gas station mababantayan mo pa half the price ng casa

October 18th, 2005 12:05 AM #6Di na kailangan niyan, the manufacturer has already spent millions of dollars doing research on preventing corrosion in their cars. Pure marketing gimmickry lang ang aftermarket rustproofing. I still have my non rustproofed 96 model civic with 180,000kms and wala naman kalawang. i think mas nakakasama pa nga yata ng mga ziebart na yan kasi malagkit so ung putik kumakapit, whereas with factory rustproofing its just like painted finish, so dirt washes off easily with soap and water.

to each his own.
i just got my samurai rustproofed (underbody) with shell rustgard for 2500.
i know that manufacturers have already put in corrosion-resistant coating to the vehicles, but i believe an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. lalu na kung nasa malapit ka ng dagat, very salty air, madali mangalawang ang bakal.
just make sure malinis (underbody wash and dried) yung ilalim before application of the coating. so that no dirt or moisture is trapped.

you guys are mistaking undercoating with rustproofing.
undercoating is spraying tar-based rubberized coat underneath the carriage
rust proofing is spraying cavity wax on the INNER PANELS of the body.
