btw, speaking of porsche. i saw a brand new cayenne when i went to pinas last march. not in manila, but in the province up north. deym! i wonder how much that thing cost over there.

last year, my jaw almost locked when i saw a silver cayenne parked in our bldg a few days after i read about it in time magazine !!!
and just yesterday, i saw a blue one parked on an unfenced (but guarded) lot. no driver/owner visible around. tapos may ambulant vendor (selling framed paintings), isinandal sa cayenne yung mga paninda nya!!! grabe...siguro inatake sa puso yung may-ari kung nakita nya yun!!! LOL

here's the realistic pricing for the Cayenne here in the Philippines:

Cayenne: P4.5M
Cayenne S: P7M
Cayenne Turbo: P9.5M

rule of thumb is to just double the price of any car retailing for more than $30K there.

OT pa rin: I read somewhere (dito rin yata) that for returning OFWs merong benefit to bring in a vehicle you've owned in the country you worked, tax free (or minimal).
