Hello Tsikoteers,

I just registered on this forum and I instantly found it very informative just by scanning a few threads about Car Comparison. Kung sino po ang may konting time to spare, help naman po please.

I am planning to buy a 2nd hand car (my first ride) and sad to say, with my very limited knowledge about cars, I really don't know where to start Ano po ba ang mga kelangan ko ayusin na papers? Mga requirements and steps po ng paglipat ng name sa akin. Ano po ba ang mga dapat kong tingnan sa car at itanong sa seller para hindi naman po ako maloko and madaya. Meron po ba kayong alam na site na pwede ko puntahan? Sensya na po mga sir/ma'am sobrang newbie.

OR-CR. then deed of sale. yan lang din kailangan sa lto para sa transfer of name. and of course, cash. kung wala kang plano na magtagal sa iyo yun vehicle, halimbawa ipagbibili mo din after a year, i suggest wag mo na ipalipat sa pangalan mo. gagastos ka lang. wala naman problema kahit di nakapangalan sa iyo yun sasakyan as long you have the deed of sale. but if you really want to keep it, have it transferred to your name.

1. deed of sale notarizes
2. orig or and cr
3. clearance sa TMG
4. change venue - if sa ibang brang ng LTO previously naka register
5. Zerox ID of previous owner

since you said na wala ka pang alam sa cars, then it's better to bring someone along who have knowledge sa mga dapat tingnan pag bibili ka na ng car...mahirap na maloko dude

tama si shadow, then dalhin sa malapit na gas station to check the underchassis

before the LTO transfer the registration to your name they verify it from Crame kung hindi ito hot car. i takes at least two weeks bago lumabas ang result.
