If I were to be asked, I'll definitely choose the Nissan Patrol, without any hesitation, because of its durability and dependability. In fact, it's being used by the United Nations in their diplomatic missions. Kahit nga si Gloria sangkatutak ang Patrol niya. For you, what's the best? Thank you in advance.

It's a toss-up between the Toyota Landcruiser and the McLaren F1... errh... I know which one I'd rather have, though... :hysterical:

If I was Jeremy Clarkson, I would say it's the Land Rover Defender

Model T. First assembly line produced car and made cars affordable to regular people. Until it came along people rode horse drawn carriages because cars were expensive.

Willys Jeep to Jeep JK. What other model has been produced through all these years and maintains the same ability it had when it was first introduced in 1941? The Patrol and Land Cruisers are nice but they are nothing like what the originals were and are now over weight SUV's. Land Rover? It's not original and made by the British after the Americans came up with the Jeep six years earlier. It even used a Buick V8. The SUV came about because of this vehicle.

i would have to say benzes.
nothing could ever match the durability and dependability of a benz.
not only are you transported in ultimate style and comfort,
but you ride assured that you are in one of the safest vehicles on any road.
the features they stuff even in their standard cars are more
than whats on any japanese top of the line executive sedan.

    very impressive.

    anyway,

aren't land cruisers the staple of most UN car fleets?

Anything with a "best" on the tag will inevitably invite some form of contention.

But I would seconded the choice of the the Jeep if durability and dependability are the main criteria. Its basic design still with us until today.

Nissan Patrol Super Safari would be my bet. I just love this SUV. Nice ride comfort, interiors are a lot better than other SUVs i've ridden, power is generous, plus it does not cost an arm and a leg compared to other SUVs...

too bad i had to give my 98 Patrol up before..

my second pick would be Toyota's Landcruisers.. very well designed machines..
