parang OT: anong magandang child seat brand kaya?

sa OT question. GRACO siguro or kung gusto mo maangas baby mo, tingin ka sa taas ^

Best area is still the center because there's nothing infront to hit the kid, and side impacts are rarely transferred to the center seat area.
Usually people install a second mirror to view the baby, tipong yung ipapatong lang sa dashboard or something of that nature.
If your baby needs attention, it just makes more sense to pull over and attend to the kid instead of reaching over (whether it is on the passenger seat or rear), you're risking everybody's life here.
If you are buying car seats, you have to plan ahead...
If your child is still a baby (can't seat on their own yet), the best way to go is to get those baby carriers that can be removed from the main child seat. That way, you're all set from birth to around 4 years old.
Child seat namin hand-me-down lang from a friend, and it doesn't work now that my son is almost 2. He can get out of it really quickly and he's not comfy in it already.
Getting an adjustable toddler seat that'll fit him until he's 5 or so soon.
Child seats here are just ridiculously expensive... The models they sell for 12-20K here costs less than 10K in the US... I guess supply and demand nadin, dami bumibili dun and required by law kasi in most states.
Wag nyong tipirin... Sobrang sulit naman good child seat, sabihin mong 20K yun, tapos 5-6 years nya magagamit parang 300 bucks a month lang yun sa security ng anak nyo...
While it's true that most of us grew up not seating in a child seat (and buhay padin tayo), people travel more these days, more cars, more reckless drivers etc... Not worth the gamble.

if you place the car seat at the front passenger seat you must deactivate the air bag, else the baby will be in more danger since the air bag can deploy even with a not-so-hard frontal collision. ako always sa center rear seat facing back. yun kasi nabili ko pwede front or back facing.
is there any way to add more side impact beams? double side impact beams na yung car pero gusto ko pa dagdagan for more safety.

Yebo: Other than installing safety rollbars, I dont think meron... Another option would be owning a Hummer H1 hehe..
Yes, i do think so. Since it's based on the 4th-gen delica/space gear, which in turn shares some of...
