Hello, My first post here. Any mechanic or shops that specializes in American cars especially vintage mustangs/camaros? I'm in the process of restoring a Mustang. Please leave contact numbers, name and address too. BTW, I'm in Manila.
That's all. More power to tsikot.com

try Ultra Car located along pasong tamo corner Sabio St in Makati. They specialize in restoring luxury cars (have seen old minis, camaros, mustangs, range rovers, etc. being restored there).
try getting in touch with Mr. Naji Kassouf at 893-7530.
BTW, they are quite pricey though

Turbo,
I got mine a 66 Coupe 200cid Inline Six C4 trans, A/C manual on everything. I'm about to change sparkplugs, contact point, condenser and engine oil as well. There are mechanics here in our area kaso di aral sa mga American cars. I can't gamble.
Where in Bulacan? Any contact person or shop numbers?
Woodfire,
I'll call them tomorrow I hope they will not charge me an arm and a leg.
Thanks for the replies. Have a blast this weekend

Turbo,
Hey, that's great to hear you had a 289 Cougar and that 351 Windsor Mach! I almost died of envy I sent you a Private Message, please read. I would love to hear something from you.

November 24th, 2002 09:33 PM #7Sir Bunny,
Dito sa Clark, Angeles City Pampanga maraming sanay sa american cars (for obvious reasons). The downside is I don't have a first hand exprience working with them, kasi po wala naman akong american car na ipapagawa. They also don't charge an "arm or leg" unless malaki talaga ang trabaho. They would charge the same ke japanese or american car ang ipinapaayos.
Pero if I were you, I'll do DIY, marami naman pong books dyan na pang DIY (although madalas sa US mo pa mabibili).
My 2 cents.

Thanks

November 25th, 2002 11:13 PM #10Yup maraming magagaling dyan and parts are plenty. Usually pag wla akong part sa palengke ng Angeles kami bumibili. Kasi behind the market is a yard where V8 parts bastardized from old cars are sold.
Mgakakaroon ka rin ng ganito, magsikap ka lang. and pray a lot.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
