Thats what I was thinking but I want the noisy ones ... why dont u think I should get the noisy ones?
because you don't want to be seen as a "wanna-be" rice boy... heck! with a eclipse, do you need the extra negative attention?Originally Posted by EclipseGT
for me, the next step would be aftermarket wheels before the freeflow muffler.
stuff to do:
-CAI
-freeflow exhaust
-wheels upgrade
-bigger intercooler (ask autoxer) this can add some HPs.
The thing is that I want my car to be fast and of course with racing tires it be sweet but I want to get more high performance stuff before I mess with the wheels like a full exhaust system , new computer chip and when I start saving this B***H is gonna have turbos .
don't forget about the brakes, with a fast car you will want to stop right?![]()
You know thats true I noticed that I didn't stop properly when I was racing my buddy's toyota Supra
actually the stock brakes are pretty good... just change the pads to a better compound if you feel it's not enough.Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing
depends on what mods was done and the condition of the brake system. Its possible the brake pads have been "cooked" from previous heavy braking.Originally Posted by EclipseGT
is your eclipse equipted with a turbo?... (not that totally familiar with eclipse variants if there is a non-turbo version).Originally Posted by EclipseGT
huh? You have the eclipse in your garage right? why don't you take a peek![]()
yeah free flowing exhaust. but not the loud ones. headers, that is low restrictions but never compromises the backpressure (read torque). of course, engine power is not about horses only, but torque too. ecu upgrades, then brakes. ground effects too, but not too loud. duck-tail and chin spoilers will do... oh by the way, before aesthetics, don't forget a stiffer (not necessarily lower) suspension and shock absorbers to carve out those corners...
go(d)speed!!! :D
then after all that slap on a full body kit with 20" high double deck aluminum wings
Now thats what Im talking about .... thanx man!Originally Posted by ian_rex
