    the rally spec lancer box-type is powered by a 2.0 sohc turbo engine. a 4g63 engine swap in a box type has been done before.

    the galant vr-4 is the only japanese or rather non- mercedes benz vehicle that amg took time to modify.

    Hmmm, so a 4G63 NA in a Lancer Egg will out sprint an SiR. Someone told me it can't out run an SiR.

    Are there 4G63 automatics available? Are there any modifications to be done if one fits a galant 4G63 automatic to Lancer Egg? What about parts availability for 4G63 since it's probably Japanese model engine?

    the 4g63 was also released with a auto tranny mated to it. i'm not sure of what mods are needed( if there are any) when you do swap in one into a lancer egg. parts availability isn't much of a problem since the 4g63 is what's under the hood of the local galant gti.

    Stock to stock a 4g63NA in a Lancer egg will not outrun a SiR in a quarter mile. Slap a 4G63T in a Lancer egg then that's a different story

    Just need an engine for Lancer Egg that will out sprint an SiR from stop light. One that has a lot of parts available. Guess a 4G63 automatic fits the bill. Hard to find automatic transmission though. Problem would also be parts availability for automatic 4G63 since Galant GTis here have manual transmissions.

    Eto specs ng 4g63T na RVR

    230PS/227HP, AWD, Intercooler Turbo
    8.5 Compression Ratio.(2nd gen 63T-7Bolter) Halos parehas sa evo 1-3 engine

    Mukang mahihirapan honda dyan lalo pa sa rektahan.

    About sa 63NA na AMG.

    Halos kasing presyo nya 63T ng Galant VR4. around 170hp sya.

    Yup, pwede kabit sa boxtype. It can do low 15 sec passes. Kayang kaya sibakin yung SiR. With additional mods, kaya mag 14s. Kahit 63T kayang tapatan.

    I know someone who uses this engine on an 80's Lancer, running on low 14s. Thats N/A AMG tuned.

    alam ko iba yan sa RVR engine. kasi ang 4G63T na nakakabit sa 6G galant vr4 produces only around 170-180hp. yung sa RVR na 4G63T, mga 220-230hp ang output nya. tweak mo nalang para mamaximize yung potential ng engine. conversely, i saw an ad for 4G63T that came from an eclipse. nakakatempt din yun dahil swak din sa galant ko hehehe

    di mo kasi mapapansin yan RVR na malakas kasi karamihan nagdadadrive nyan slow-mo ang dating at di maangas .... mukhang stable sya ksi quite heavy yun body (small version ng space wagon) so assuming na hindi kinonvert yan i dnt mind ibanat yan sa highway

    Ang 4g63t na swak sa pizza pie ay ung mga galing evo 4-6. Baliktad ang orientation ng 4g63t na galing 6g Galant VR4 at RVR..
