mga kapatid, i need ur advice. i'm looking for both personal & family use kind of car. something sporty, yet ellegant. easy to maintain, manual, FLD, all power & atleast '94 model. i'm interested sa galant ss, corona, sentra ss, & mazda familia. which do you think would fit my budget & the specs i need? 170K lang kze hard-earned budget ko. i'm also expecting that the car would give me atleast 1 year for any major replacement or repairs of parts. thank's guys & God bless you all

Mukhang kulang ang budget for the cars of your choice. I just sold my Corolla XE '96 at P185 k. Just look at classified ads.

Galant SS nasa 210-230k, 94-95 Accord would be around 200-270k (Estimate).

Check online sites such as carfinder(buyandsellph) or autolink for some other choices. Also check the classifieds section here at tsikot or selling section in other forums such as hondaclub for more deals.

For a budget of 170K, your choices will be limited.

    1992-1994 Corolla 1.6 GLi (AE101)
    1992-1995 Sentra 1.6 ECCS (B13)
    1993-1995 Lancer 1.6 GLXi

I won't suggest the Mazda Familia 1.6 simply because it is a gas guzzler. Other than that fact, its a very nice car.

    Check the prices at http://www.buyandsellph.com/

'93 - '95 Corona for me given the criteria of easy to maintain, parts availablity, and the size it gives for a family car.

The Galant fits the budget also but i'd expect some gremlins and repairs in that model year.

Expect to shell out additional for repairs though, regardlesss of what car you get.

    nissan altima

nissan's a victim of perception leading to low-resale value, but if your planning for it to be a keeper, then you'll get a good deal. bells & whistles car pa to...unique pa...dunno lang about the parts & issues, do your research na lang...or ask niky, he's the nissan expert here =)

then i hesitate to know what you think about the Mazda 626!!! (which incidentally would also fit in the OP's budget)
